India Love Issues Apology After On Stage Disruption at The 2025 Streamer Awards

Twitch streamer India Love has issued a public apology after a controversial moment at The Streamer Awards, where she walked on stage to dispute the winner of the breakout streamer category.
The 2025 edition of the show took place on December 6 and continued QTCinderella’s tradition of celebrating standout creator moments from the past year.
Kai Cenat earned major recognition following Mafiathon 3, IShowSpeed secured Streamer of the Year, and BurntPeanut was named VTuber of the Year, even though some members of the VTubing community disagreed with the decision.
What Happened? And The Apology
The unexpected incident happened when India Love took the stage after FaZe Adapt was announced as the breakout streamer winner.
She stated that although Adapt had won and deserved respect, she believed Rakai should have received the award instead. Her comments were met with boos from the audience before she exited the stage.
Following the backlash, India Love apologized during a stream. FaZe’s Kaysan had called her behavior disrespectful, and many viewers compared the moment to Kanye West interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs.
Love acknowledged she acted out of emotion and called her behavior unnecessary. She apologized to QTCinderella for disrupting the event and expressed regret for stepping onto the stage at all.
She also apologized directly to Adapt, saying there was no justification for overshadowing his achievement. Love admitted her actions were selfish and impulsive and said she deeply regrets taking away from his moment.
