FaZe Clan is facing major uncertainty after a wave of high profile creators announced their departures during the Christmas period. JasonTheWeen, Lacy, StableRonaldo, YourRage, Kaysan, and Silky all confirmed they had left the organization, signaling the collapse of the current FaZe house era.

One of the most notable exits came from Adapt, who ended a 14 year run with the brand and hinted at a new chapter ahead.

YourRage later shared an emotional message apologizing to fans and confirming his time with FaZe was permanently over. Kaysan echoed similar sentiments, expressing pride in what was built while confirming he would continue running the FaZe Esports program separately.

FaZe Banks addresses internal fallout

The situation escalated after FaZe co founder FaZe Banks responded publicly, rejecting claims that creators were mistreated.

Banks stated that he personally financed housing and support for members, describing the effort as a major financial risk. He criticized several former creators, accusing them of ego driven behavior and a lack of gratitude.

Tensions intensified when Banks singled out PlaqueBoyMax, who confirmed he had already left FaZe months earlier due to ownership and control disputes.

The two exchanged accusations publicly, with Banks later calling Max a liar and questioning his career decisions.

Second wave of departures and official response

On December 27, founding member Apex, along with Rug and Swagg, also exited FaZe Clan. In response, the organization released a statement calling the moment heartbreaking and describing the end of the era as tragic.

FaZe emphasized continued support for departing members while clarifying that FaZe Esports has always operated independently and will now be the primary focus moving forward.

Another longtime member, Replays, announced his departure on December 28, leaving ZooMaa, Jev, and Scope as the remaining content creators at the time of writing.

FaZe Esports update and website shutdown

FaZe Esports issued a separate update on December 29, distancing itself from the creator drama and reaffirming its commitment to competitive esports in 2026.

Around the same time, fans noticed that FaZeClan.com had gone offline, further fueling speculation about the future of the brand’s creator division.
