League of Legends Patch 26.20 Notes
Riot Games has officially released the complete notes for League of Legends Patch 26.20, targeting solo queue overperformers while reshaping competitive priority picks in the mid and jungle roles.
With ranked split deadlines approaching, understanding which champions gained crucial damage scalings and which item spikes were toned down will determine your climb over the coming weeks.
Champion Buffs
Patch 26.20 looks to inject life into underrepresented champions struggling to match the tempo of current meta favorites:
-
Sustain Fighters: Base health regen and early armor scalings have been dialed up for classic top-lane duelists, allowing them to withstand oppressive poke matchups.
-
Control Mages: Minor mana pool increases and cooldown reductions have been applied to long-range waveclear champions to help stabilize mid-game objective setups.
Champion Nerfs
Several champions who maintained oppressive win rates across Diamond+ and Master tiers have seen their offensive power trimmed:
-
High-Mobility Assassins: Early lethality scaling and roaming movement speed passive bonuses received direct nerfs to punish failed cross-map plays.
-
Aggressive Enchanters: Shield durations and movement buffs have been shortened, requiring tighter reaction timing during chaotic skirmishes.
Objective and System Tweaks
Beyond champion numbers, Patch 26.20 refines map tempo:
-
Jungle Pet Damage: Slight adjustments to monster burn damage prevent runaway full-clear speeds, encouraging proactive ganking paths.
-
Tower Plate Durability: Resistances granted during consecutive plate takes have been adjusted to discourage uncontrolled snowballs in duo lanes.
Review the full numbers in your client before locking in your next ranked game, and look out for immediate micropatches if individual outliers require day-one tuning.
