Each one of us has goals and aims to achieve them. For some of us, we have idols that we wish to be as successful or skillful as. But how can we? 

 

It’s not wrong to get inspiration from more experienced players in the field you’re at in order to improve at a faster pace, you need to work smart and not hard. In this guide, we will share with you ScreaM’s aim routine in detail so you can try it out for yourself and see if there’s a one tap god within you! 



Aim Trainers - Aim Lab

 

Scream utilizes the third party tool “Aim Lab” which is an external program that you can download to practice your aim. His routine is not entirely based on it but an essential part is, so if you do not own Aim Lab make sure you head over to steam to obtain it. It’s completely free.

Scream's Routine

 

Scream starts his routine with stretching. Doing multiple arm and wrist stretches to make sure you’re warmed up. 

 

He said it helps him with feeling better and having better care of his arm and hand, as well as it releases the tension that might lay when you’re starting your day off with an aim training session. 

 

Right after stretching and warming up, Scream heads to Aim Lab to start practicing his daily aim routine



Gridshot:

 

He starts with the task Gridshot which Aim Lab’s most popular task. But don’t get this wrong, it’s not a task meant to improve on anything related to VALORANT it’s more about warming up your mouse movement and coordination.

 

He stated that it’s “The best way to warmup” because it gives you targets on every angle that you need to shoot, effectively playing it a few times before actually starting can further help you get in the locked in feeling. 

 

 

Headshot:

 

The second exercise Scream takes is a task named “Headshot (Standard)” 

 

He loves this task due to how accurately it stimulates VALORANT and CSGO aiming, as in it you’ll be training flicking to head-sized targets on a horizontal line just like you would need to in VALORANT. 

 

ScreaM advised that you start slow and never go for speed not until you’ve perfected your precision and accuracy. 

 

Do every practice in this routine a few times, mostly up to preference but staying around 2-3 times for each is going to be most impactful on your aim. 

 



Switchtrack:

 

Now to the third exercise, Scream thinks to be a good aimer you need to have exceptional tracking skills. While it’s unusual to say that in a game field like VALORANT, it is true. You need to train your tracking and here’s how he does it 

 

Play the switchtrack task in the tracking category and make sure you consistently take your targets, starting slow and upping the level of speed as you progress.

 

A very helpful tip Scream mention is to not care too much about your score; focus on your accuracy and think second about speed. Playing for the score does not equal improvement, so make sure you play it the right way! 

 

 

Wallpeek Intermediate:

 

Next task on the board is Wallpeek Intermediate, in this task you are fighting 2 bots on each side and it helps you practice your peeking mechanics as well as how you deal with two targets on screen when they’re both moving. 

 

Again, Scream does this training at least 2-4 times.

Valorant Ascent Wallpeek:

 

Scream said this is a fun challenge to do as it seems pretty accurate to how it replicates VALORANT. He says it gives you a good sense of how you should be dealing with similar situations on VALORANT and it’s very good to kick the warmup in to ensure your aim is more stable and consistent in-game. 


 

After you’re done with Aim Lab, now it’s time to head into deathmatch and utilize the training into actual impactful plays in VALORANT. 

Scream’s main rule when playing in deathmatch is that you take your time to shoot. Just like Aim Labs, don’t go for speed and rather stay slow and precise. Overtime, your speed will accumulate and build up with your precision skills. 

 

He shows a good example of how a player should like like fundamentally and mechanically, there hasn’t been much crouching in Scream’s gameplay and his shooting style is rather impressive. 

 

Always aim to shoot your gun in taps, interpret that with good movement and you’ll become unstoppable. 

 

He also said you should play without sound in DM and that it’s one of the first rules you should definitely consider. Playing for sound defeats the point of practice; you’re trying to improve and not to win. Make a difference in how you approach that



Consistency

 

If you really want to become like Scream, knowing his aim routine is not enough. Neither will it be for any other player’s routine or even gear and settings. The only constant factor in your games is you, so make sure you work smart to get to where you want to be.
