Best Breach Flashes And Stuns For Haven
As a high-impact initiator, Breach, with his suite of seismic abilities, can single-handedly turn the tide of any round. However, the true potential of this earth-shattering agent lies not just in understanding his abilities but in applying them in the most strategic and devastating ways possible. In this article, we'll delve into how to maximize the effectiveness of Breach's stuns and flashes on the map Haven, exploring various strategies, best practices, and situational tips to help you overwhelm the enemy, disrupt their tactics, and secure victory for your team.
Breach Stuns
The fault line ability which is otherwise known as “Stun” is one of the most overpowered pieces of utility that you can use to shift the outcome of any round. Using it at the right time and place makes an unimaginable difference as to how the games will be played. In this section, we will demonstrate the best stuns you can use for both attacking and defensive halves:
What Does It Cover: This stun covers the entire area of A long with the little exception of the tight corner behind the boxes. It can be adjusted to either go deeper or wider depending on what you see fit according to the situation.
When To Use It: Best used in situations where you’re aware of the possibility that the enemy team could have an operator player or an aggressive setup towards A long to get early picks.
What Makes It Good: The fact that this stun will be able to terminate any set of aggressive play towards A long which grants you instant access to gain control of that area, especially if you ended up scoring a kill.
Simply come over to any area on A lobby after you’ve secured that nobody is A short, and perform your stun as such.
What Does It Cover: This stun covers the entire area of Close Short on site and takes a large portion of back site and CT. It can also hit A Heaven stairs, which wouldn’t necessarily benefit but will slow enemies down.
When To Use It: If you had established A long control and your teammates are struggling to walk up on Short, this can easily be a good option as it will clear any close angles for them and allow them to burst into site and hopefully earn a few picks off your utility.
What Makes It Good: This stun is hard to counter if you were in any of the affected position making it very valuable and destructive to anyone up against it.
Best done from this position on A long, all you need to do is use your minimap as a reference to where your stun will land.
What Does It Cover: This stun will cover the entire area of A lobby, which might not seem as effective but as a defender this can be a good play for a set of execute that you can do accordingly.
When To Use It: Best used when you plan to have a teammate (especially that possesses an operator) go for a first pick from A short towards A lobby. Preferably, right at the start of the round.
What Makes It Good: Enemies will definitely fall into this stun except they’ve been tricked by it which they can wait before peeking, in either scenario you will force control or earn picks so it’s a win-win situation.
Go over to this corner out of B link and aim your stun exactly like so, use it accordingly.
What Does It Cover: Covering the entire left side area of C site which almost extends as far as CT, excluding dodgy corners such as Garage and Logs, this will still rock any enemies playing around that area.
When To Use It: Best time to use it would be when you’re planning to execute C site and have a fast push set from C long as this will cover the close angle on green boxes that can be very tricky to clear.
What Makes It Good: If you have a duelist that will instantly dash in upon your stun, any enemy playing around that close angle is guaranteed to be stunned therefore giving away an easy entry into site.
All you need to do is come over to this corner and aim your stun towards the left side, make sure to not miss the mark.
What Does It Cover: The entirety of C long excluding C cubby, it also hits the middle portion of C lobby.
When To Use It: As a defender Breach on C site you will be able to stop any execute or enemy coming from C long by simply using this stun. If you see any enemies on the Radar, use it and that will buy enough time to get rotations and smokes down.
What Makes It Good: Uniquely, nobody can dodge that stun as they will be in a narrow area, only way to dodge it will be C cubby which in either way will deny the enemy’s execute.
Simply stand in back site and aim your stun down towards C long. You can jiggle / jump peek to gather information before using it.
Breach Flashes
Breach’s flashpoint is what made him a popular agent, as we all remember the days we could not help but see the sun and get picked as this agent dominated with his abilities. Here you will find the best spots where you can use breach flashes for to hopefully maximize the chances that everyone on that sight is blind. This will be for both attacking and defensive halves:
What Does It Cover: This flash will blind anyone playing back site, graffiti or even under on A site. It won’t have an effect on anyone that’s playing close or in front of the boxes on site.
When To Use It: Whenever you are planning to execute A site, this will be your best bet to clear back site and ensure you have an advantage in taking those fights.
What Makes It Good: It’s very tricky to play around which can cause enemies to give in or back off which in either situation you will get kills or site for free.
You are free to do it from anywhere, all you need to do is aim your flash through that box on site.
What Does It Cover: This flash will blind anyone playing back site on B and even some that will be towards the C link area.
When To Use It: Being the default flash to any B site execute, this helps you get control of the deeper area on B so if that’s what you’re going for this will be a perfect flash for you.
What Makes It Good: As long as there’s a teammate going right after your utility, you will always be in an advantageous position taking those duels on site.
Simply aim your flash on one of the sides of the huge metal boxes and your flash will go through.
What Does It Cover: Covering the entirety of back site, CT and platform on C site, this will be the perfect flash for site control.
When To Use It: Best used when you’re heavily executing C site.
What Makes It Good: While it may be repetitive doing this flash everytime you execute C but it still will land pressure on the enemies even if they saw it coming, which gives you an upper hand in any fight.
To do it, just pick a point of that box on C site and flash through it.
Pro Tips:
- Breach flashes have a projectile speed set to it, so for example if you are to flash through a long distance that will make your flash take more time before it arrives to the wall and goes through it, making it easier for the enemy to dodge. So always account for the distance before flashing.
- To get the full benefit from playing breach, make sure to combine his utility to clear out different angles as stuns and flashes isolate areas while you can use Aftershocks to also hit enemies that might be tucked in sneaky corners.
- Don’t forget to fully charge your stun as it affects to what distance it extends to, of course if you don’t need it to go far you can instantly do it for the purpose of doing it quicker.
