With the Game Changers 2025 season underway, the initial details for this year’s Championship have been announced. Game Changers is dedicated to fostering a competitive environment where players of all backgrounds can showcase their skills without divisions or restrictions.
Game Changers Championship 2024: A Year of Growth
In 2024, the Game Changers Championship (GCC) expanded to 10 teams, increasing opportunities for top competitors worldwide. Moving into 2025, the format has been updated, with the Americas region now receiving four total slots, ensuring broader representation on the global stage.
Introducing the Game Changers Americas LCQ
To maintain a balanced and competitive structure, the Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) has been introduced. This event will feature the second-place teams from Brazil, Latin America, and North America, giving them a final opportunity to secure a spot at GCC 2025.
The updated slot allocation is as follows:
- The top teams from North America, LATAM, and Brazil will qualify directly for the Championship.
- The second-place teams from these regions will compete in the GC Americas LCQ for the final Americas slot.
The Americas LCQ will take place at the Riot Games studio in São Paulo and will feature two days of LAN competition.
The first day will follow a single round-robin format, where each team will face the others once.
On the second day, the top two teams will battle in a best-of-five match, with the winner securing the final GCC 2025 slot.

VALORANT continues to grow as a global esport, and ensuring fair representation at Game Changers is a key priority.
Over the past year, Game Changers players have continued to make an impact—Flor has advanced to the IL, GC players have excelled in the Spotlight series, and teams like MiBR, G2 Gozen, and GiantX have participated in Challengers promotion events. Additionally, Shopify Rebellion has officially secured a place in Challengers.
