Kyedae Announces Indefinite Break From Streaming

A familiar face in the Valorant streaming community has officially stepped away from the camera, announcing an indefinite break from streaming to focus on personal well-being and new priorities.

For longtime followers, the news might not come as a total shock. According to Kyedae, the decision has been quietly forming over the past few years. "Streaming was never really the dream," she admitted. “Before I ever went live, I was actually studying with plans to go to med school. I put that aside to give this a real shot.”

The journey into streaming, while filled with opportunities and unforgettable moments, wasn’t without its challenges. Over time, she confessed, it began to feel more like a burden than a passion. “I started to feel a growing sense of resentment toward it,”

After much thought, she has made the call to step away, no timelines, no pressure, just a clear focus on doing what’s best for their health and happiness. “Honestly, I haven’t felt this happy and at peace in years,”she said.

Part of that peace seems to come from a shift in lifestyle. Along with dealing with some recent health issues, she's also taken on fresh commitments outside of streaming, including competing in Valorant’s Game Changers circuit, a major platform aimed at elevating women and marginalized genders in esports.
