VCT EMEA Update: Partner Team Selection

The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) EMEA is currently in the process of filling an open slot within the league.

An invite-only selection began last week, bringing together ten organizations with proven commitment to VALORANT Esports in the region.

These include outgoing visitor teams and Ascension champions, ensuring that those considered already have strong ties to the competitive ecosystem.

Selection Criteria

The evaluation process follows the same framework established when the partnership program was launched in 2023. Each organization is assessed across four main areas:

Competitive operations: The strength and planning of their teams.
Fandom and community engagement: The ability to connect with and grow dedicated fanbases.

Marketing capabilities: Effective promotion and brand-building within esports.
Operational readiness: The infrastructure needed to succeed at the highest level.

The ultimate goal is to welcome an organization that not only competes but also contributes to the long-term growth of VALORANT Esports across EMEA.

Timeline and Expectations

Several strong proposals have already been submitted, and the review will continue over the coming weeks. The selected partner team is expected to be announced in October.
