VALORANT Esports 2025: Ascension, Game Changers Seoul, and Partner Series Highlights

Champions Paris will conclude a thrilling 2025 VCT season, but the competition calendar is far from over.

Starting in October, fans can expect nonstop action every weekend with Ascension, Game Changers, and a series of Partner Series events. 

VCT Ascension 2025

The 2025 Ascension tournaments begin right after Champions, running from October 11–26. Each region’s top Challengers teams will face off against Ascended teams defending their place in the International Leagues.

Ascension schedule:

• VCT Ascension CN: October 11–19

• VCT Ascension Pacific: October 14–26

• VCT Ascension Americas: October 17–26

• VCT Ascension EMEA: October 18–26

The stakes have never been higher. Incumbent teams must fight to retain their spots while challengers aim to secure entry into the 2026 International Leagues.

Game Changers Championship in Seoul

For the first time, the Game Changers Championship heads to Seoul, South Korea, taking place at LoL Park from November 20–30.

The event will showcase the world’s best Game Changers rosters on one of esports’ most iconic stages.

This year also introduces the Americas Last Chance Qualifier, creating another pathway to the Championship.

VCT Partner Series

The VCT Partner Series delivers premier competitions between official VCT seasons, creating opportunities for international clashes, rising talent, and fan-favorite events. Several major tournaments are confirmed for the remainder of 2025.

Spotlight Series Pacific x GES Asia

• Date: October 30 – November 2

• Location: Gwangju E-sports Arena
  Mixed rosters of Game Changers and pro players compete in a four-day LAN event.

TEN 2025 VALORANT Global Invitational

• Date: November 8–9

• Location: Asan, Korea
  The top four VALORANT teams worldwide will meet in this elite invitational, featuring representation from Pacific, Americas/EMEA, and CN regions.

Red Bull Home Ground World Final

• Date: November 14–16

• Location: Hammerstein Ballroom, New York City
  The fifth edition of Home Ground brings global heavyweights and emerging contenders together for an electrifying showdown.

Ludwig x Tarik Invitational

• Date: November 22–23
  Returning in 2025, this fan-favorite event blends high-level play with experimental formats and unique entertainment.

SOOP VALORANT League Pacific

• Date: December 2–7
  The APAC-focused competition features top teams from SEA, China, and other regions, showcasing new rosters ahead of the 2026 season.

Project Blender + Blender Spotlight

• Open Qualifier: October 11–12

• Blender Spotlight: November 3–4

• Phase II: November 7–9, November 14–16

• Phase III: December 3–9

• Phase IV: December 13–14

This groundbreaking EMEA tournament features open qualifiers with up to 1,024 teams. Project Blender integrates all tiers of competition, culminating in a December championship. Blender Spotlight introduces a mixed-gender competition with its own €10,000 prize pool.

Americas Spotlight Series

• Date: December 12–14
  A three-day LAN event with mixed rosters from Game Changers and pro players, featuring a $25,000 prize pool.
