VCT Ascension EMEA 2025: Format, Schedule, and Broadcast Details
The 2025 VCT Ascension EMEA begins on October 18, marking the region’s largest VALORANT promotion tournament yet.
This year’s event takes place at the Riot Games Arena in Berlin as a full LAN experience, showcasing EMEA’s rising talents with a fresh broadcast style for the Group Stage that brings the community closer to the next stars of VCT.
VCT Ascension EMEA 2025 Format
The 2025 edition introduces a refined structure with eight qualifying teams: ULF Esports, BBL PCIFIC, Twisted Minds, Enterprise Esports, Mandatory, Joblife, DNSTY, and FOKUS. These teams will compete for promotion to VCT EMEA 2026.
The competition will feature two groups of four teams, each playing in a GSL-style double-elimination format with best-of-three matches. Teams with two wins advance to an Ascension Match, while teams with two losses are eliminated.
Group Stage matches will be hosted in Riot’s upgraded Pro Player High Performance Rooms with a community-driven broadcast format.
The top two teams from each group will move on to the Ascension Matches, held live on stage at Riot Games Arena. Both finals will be best-of-five showdowns determining which teams advance to the next level.
All matches will be played on Patch 11.07, featuring the maps Abyss, Ascent, Bind, Corrode, Haven, Lotus, and Sunset.

Group Stage matches begin at 5 PM CEST, while the Ascension Matches start at 6 PM CEST.
Broadcast Details
While the Group Stage will not feature a live audience, it will introduce a new casual couch broadcast setup, allowing hosts and analysts to engage with viewers in a relaxed, interactive setting.
The final two days will feature a traditional live broadcast setup from the Riot Games Arena, with fans in attendance for the decisive matches.
