Riot Confirms Major Harbor Rework Is Coming

Riot Games has officially confirmed that Valorant’s water-wielding Controller, Harbor, will receive a full rework soon, and players are already buzzing after one very curious voice line surfaced in the latest PBE update.
The new line, “Look, my artifact’s vibrating! Ah! It stopped. This thing always keeps me on my toes,” has immediately caught the community’s attention.
It sounds playful, but considering Riot also said Harbor will get an entirely new ability, fans are wondering if this is more than just a random quip.
Harbor Will Receive A Full Rework
Harbor’s current kit revolves around fluid-style control and movement, using water walls and waves to block sightlines.
The mention of a “vibrating artifact” could hint at something reactive, maybe a tool that senses enemy presence, charges up, or triggers environmental effects.
Some players even speculate it could introduce area feedback, like revealing movement or signaling enemy utility nearby.
Riot hasn’t revealed any visuals or full patch notes yet, but the tone of the line suggests Harbor’s artifact will take a more interactive and dynamic role in his gameplay.
The studio seems to be focusing on making him more versatile and engaging, possibly bridging utility and intel roles.
