Holding an angle in Valorant usually means trusting your positioning and your aim. Against Hush, you might need to worry about whether you’ll even be allowed to keep your feet on the ground.

The new telekinetic Duelist from Guangdong, China, arrives on October 27 with a kit that looks almost absurd on paper.

She can flash opponents, pull them out of position, concuss them under the right conditions, and launch herself toward an anchor. Her ultimate takes that disruption further by lifting everyone caught in its blast.

Any one of those tools could help win a fight. Giving one agent access to all of them creates some frightening possibilities.

Hush can turn good positioning into a death trap

The biggest concern is Displacement, her signature ability. A pull is already dangerous in a game where a small adjustment in positioning can expose you to an entirely different angle. Hush can also concuss players dragged into a surface or another player, potentially turning solid defensive positioning into a liability.

Then there’s the reset: Displacement refreshes every two kills. If Hush gets an entry and follows it up, she can regain the same tool that helped break the defense open.

That gives her a worrying amount of momentum. Surviving the first use doesn’t necessarily mean defenders are finished dealing with it.

Her flash and movement make the combination even nastier

Both Flashbulb and Displacement can be prepared and redirected toward her crosshair, giving Hush flexibility over where the threat goes.

The potential combination is brutal: disrupt someone’s position, blind them, then use Flow to close the distance while they’re trying to recover.

Flow creates an anchor that Hush propels herself toward after a short delay. Using it in the air briefly suspends her before she takes off, adding another movement pattern opponents will need to account for.

Together, these abilities could let Hush create an opening and immediately capitalize on it herself.

Suspension threatens to unravel an entire defense

Hush’s ultimate could be the most oppressive part of the package.

Suspension can be steered with her crosshair before she detonates it, levitating everyone caught in the blast. Against defenders relying on cover and carefully held angles, that threatens to disrupt an entire setup.

Pair that with her other abilities, and opponents could face several layers of disruption during a single push.

Even her passive adds utility, letting her retrieve weapons and the Spike or interact with switches from farther away.

Is Hush bringing too much power to one agent?

Actual balance will depend on details such as range, timing, and how easily opponents can punish her abilities. But the initial concern is obvious: Hush appears to have an answer for far too many situations.
