The signing brings the pride of Hungary back to a full five, following the benching of their former-coach-turned-player Csaba "V1CE" Kaposvári in mid-May. Previously, HEET were seen playing with Kornel "arbie" Holecz in the PLE.GG regular season, before recruiting specimen for the remainder of the event.
specimen comes off a two-month period of free agency, previously playing for the Hungarian rival team iPon Team Horizon Reapers. With specimen, HEET have yet to lose a series, winning the 25,000 PLN event after defeating Illuminar Gaming 3-1 in the grand finals. The Astra-Sage main showed himself to be a top performer on the team, boasting a 1.52 K/D ratio in the PLE.GG playoffs, the highest of any player in the bracket.
HEET hope to reverse course in the rankings after taking sharp losses throughout the first two stages of the Valorant Champions Tour. The Hungarian squad will continue through the playoffs of the Hungarian Magyar Esport Kupa #2, now with their fully-signed fifth player.
