VCT EMEA Stage 1 Challengers: Schedule, Format, Teams, Results & Streams
VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers take place between 11th of February and March 27th. Three best teams will receive the invite for VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters. Two last teams will play EMEA relegation to survive in a league for next season. The prize pool of EMEA Challengers 1 is €200,000.
Format
Group Stage: 2 groups of six teams in a Round Robin format
- Top 3 teams advance to Playoffs
- Top 1 teams have a one round bye into the Playoffs.
- Bottom 1 teams are relegated to the VCT Promotion
- All matches are Bo3
Playoffs: 6 teams in a Double-Elimination bracket
- All matches (excl. Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final) are Bo3
- Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final are Bo5
- Top 3 teams will qualify for Stage 1 Masters
