The first international event of this season will take place in Reykjavik from April 10-24.
Riot Games divide invites for VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters in the following way:
- North America - 2
- Brazil - 1
- Brazil/LATAM* - 1
- LATAM - 1
- EMEA - 3
- KR - 1
- APAC** - 2
- JP - 1
*LATAM and Brazil will compete for a second spot prior to each Masters.
**APAC Challengers Playoffs will include South Asia + OCE.
At the moment, no team in the world has guaranteed a ticket to VCT 2022: Stage 1 Masters. The format and prize pool of the tournament is unknown.
