Riot Games Reveals The Partnered Teams For VCT 2023!
Riot Games has finally revealed the much awaited list of partnered teams for the next season of Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) 2023! These are the teams that will represent the premier level of competition in the VCT.
Partnered teams are the ones who get to participate in the official VCT tournament. They get a chance to fight it out in the different stages of the tournament to earn a chance to make it to the Champions League.
Through a robust selection process, Riot Games have selected the 30 teams to be the partners and play in the next season of VCT.
Partnership Screening Process
Riot Games say that the selection process spanned months and included written applications, in-depth reviews, and financial reviews. These are the three things they are looking for in partnered teams:
- Organizations who share our values of always putting fans first, celebrate our diverse community, and are committed to supporting pros
- Organizations who have created a strong connection with fans through engaging content, a compelling brand, and an exciting roster
- Organizations who build for the long-term, with a focus on sustainability
Another important thing to note is that the performances of these teams in the past tournaments was not a considered factor in selecting them as partners!
Here are the partnered teams from all three regions! (If you want to search if a specific team made it to the list, you can either go through this list yourself or press CTRL + F and type the name of the team you want to look for)
