Best Exit Lag Settings For VALORANT

Exit Lag is one of the best applications you can use to improve your ping and connection stability. It can solve many different issues all from high ping to consistent packet loss. 

But for this to take effect, you need to find the right settings for Exit Lag. Here in this guide, we will show you the most important settings to use to make sure you have the lowest ping and best connection to VALORANT servers. Let’s get started: 

Configuring Exit Lag Settings

First you wanna select the Gear icon, heading over to the General Settings Tab. 

And here you wanna copy over these settings. Some of which are not set by default, but you should manually change them to ensure best optimization possible. 

Alternatively you can change the “Network Protocol” to UDP as it is better suited for gaming and provides best latency over TCP or other protocols. 

Now head over to the “Library” tab to select your game. Here you can select the game that you want Exit Lag to operate and form a connection on, there is an endless selection of games so you are sure to find yours here. 

Now after you’ve searched VALORANT (or your specific game) click on it. 

Over to this tab, you want to click on Server, and then click on “Manual Choice”, after that choose the region and server you queue on. If for example you are playing on EU region, London servers, you want to pick just that. 

Once you’ve picked the region, you want to click on “Advanced Settings” and make sure you have the same settings in the picture applied. Always opt for 4 UDP routes, in any server as it will give you the best performance possible. 

Lastly, click on “Apply routes” and now you can enjoy a lag-free VALORANT!
