Best Clove Decay Lineups On Pearl

If you’re playing Clove and you feel the need to learn a few lineups so you can elevate your gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we will take you through the best Decay Meddle lineups you could use. While lineups aren’t mandatory to be a good smoker, it can be the differentiator between a good and a great one.

It can also improve your KDA as you no longer would have to stand right in the open with your Meddle or as we call it vulnerability in hand to try and hit it where you want. Safe to say it is much more efficient to learn a lineup or two.

In this guide, we will take you through key locations on Pearl that you can use the meddle on to increase your chances of winning your rounds and games, so let’s start:

Attack Side

A Site

This lineup is very easy to do and it has a lot of impact on the game. This is because it lands on back site, a place where enemies definitely will be playing.

To do it, simply come by the wooden box and aim your crosshair above the lining in the wall just as shown in the picture.

B Site

Over to B site, this lineup will land under heaven, behind pillar. It is useful as this is a spot that many defenders go to especially from B link.

Defense Side

A Site

This lineup in particular is easy, but you can’t imagine how useful it is in-game. This is because it lands on enemies right as the barrier drops, this allows your teammates to walk up and easily demolish enemies with an aggressive coordinated push.

To do it, come anywhere on art, preferably with an angle to the right as seen, then throw your Decay against the window.

B Site

This lineup is so easy to perform on CT B site and it lands right on mid link. If you suspect anyone playing there or have no control over that area, this is your best bet.

To do it, come anywhere on CT where you can see this building, and then aim right on top of it then send your decay.

Clove Pro Tips

As of the recent patches, Clove’s decay will not explode until it makes contact. This allows for these new lineups to come up, so don’t worry, you’re right in with this trend!
With the recent Clove changes, your smokes take 40 seconds to recharge. This puts a lot of emphasis on using them only when you need to, and to not waste them unnecessarily.
The Ability “Meddle” is the vulnerability orb that decays enemies, you may not recognize its name but it is better to as searching for this online will require the specific ability’s name.
These lineups were designed to help you be in position to smoke site, don’t forget to do that before or right after you perform your lineup as you might hinder your teammates if you waste time on doing lineups without smoking.
Decay is an ability that is best when used with other mollies to deal damage, you can never kill with a Clove decay but you can surely get a lot of assists and win the round if you combine that with a Raze nade or other mollies.
Your decay can hit teammates, make sure you don’t hit your own team to avoid getting flamed and yelled at (who wants that, right?)

As a Clove, you should always try to play in Mid or a position that allows you to smoke both sites. If you’re attacking, you just go with your team. If you’re defending, just stick to Mid or spawn.
