Fortnite's latest season introduces a new challenge that tasks players with destroying objects while drifting or boosting in a Nitro Drifter. This is one of the new weekly challenges, and completing it rewards players with a substantial amount of XP.

The Nitro Drifter is a novel vehicle introduced in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2. This four-seater car excels at rapid traversal around the map and features a handbrake for easy drifting.

This article outlines how to destroy objects while drifting or boosting in a Nitro Drifter and provides a step-by-step guide to help you swiftly complete this new Fortnite challenge.

Steps to Destroy Objects While Drifting or Boosting in a Nitro Drifter

The new Fortnite weekly challenge is quite easy, so you can complete it without much difficulty. However, players are required to be in the right place in order to get started. Nitro Drifter is a new vehicle in Chapter 4 Season 2 of the game, but it is not available on the Island.

Below are all the steps you must take in order to destroy objects while drifting or boosting in a Nitro Drifter:

1. Locate a Nitro Drifter

To begin, players must find a Nitro Drifter. Landing in Mega City or other locations within the new biome should make finding the vehicle relatively easy. The Nitro Drifter can be found in the new biome and grassland biome, but it is not available in the northern part of the island, and its presence in the western region is limited.

2. Enter the Vehicle and Check Fuel Levels

Before attempting the challenge, ensure the Nitro Drifter has sufficient fuel, preferably at least 80%. If necessary, refuel at a gas station or use a jerry can.

3. Destroy Objects While Drifting or Boosting

Finally, enter the car and destroy objects while drifting or boosting. To drift, use the handbrake and aim to hit objects with the rear of the vehicle. Boosting makes destroying objects easier but consumes more fuel. Focus on smaller objects like bushes or fences, as they have fewer hit points.
