The Best Sova Lineups For Lotus
Sova is a versatile initiator agent in Valorant, equipped with a powerful set of abilities that can gather information and control the battlefield. One of Sova's key strengths lies in his ability to set up precise lineups, which are pre-determined locations where his abilities will land. These lineups can be used to clear out areas, gather information, and even secure kills.
There are many different Sova lineups that can be used on various maps in Valorant, each with its own specific purpose and application. Today we will demonstrate the best Sova lineups for each key location on the map Lotus that will enable you to utilize Sova’s kit to the maximum of its ability and ensure the highest chances of winning.
These lineups will cover all the important aspects such as attacking, defending, and even retaking. Whether you’re a veteran player or just starting out on the agent, this guide will be a step up and great help for your gameplay on sova while playing Lotus.
Sova Lineups - Attacking Side
While initiators are often associated with duelists, they play in a completely different way and adapt various possibilities than what a duelist player would. Sova is classified as an information initiator, unlike the flasher initiators who are more focused to find ways to flash for their duelist’s entry, you as a sova try to find the gaps in the enemy team and gather information that your team can use to open and execute sites a lot more effectively. Here’s how you can utilize Sova's lineups on attack:
A Site:
Starting with A site on lotus, the trickiest part is taking control of A tree. Which is frankly, the most important thing too. Otherwise, it’ll be pretty hard to execute A site. This arrow will land on the wall of A tree revealing everyone in there, giving you the perfect opportunity to walk out of door securely.
To do this arrow, first, come to this corner against the wall on Rubble. And then, align yourself so you can see exactly what’s shown in the picture.
Then, simply aim your crosshair at the corner shown. Try to be precise with following the instructions for this specific lineup.
Then, shoot a fully charged 2 bounces dart.
B Site:
Coming into B site, this is the ultimate god arrow that will take everyone off guard. It is guaranteed to get a few pings. Landing right on top of site, through the flower shaped hole, it will reveal almost every common position on B site.
To do this arrow, come to the wooden boxes in front of B site and jump on the first box. Then, align your drone logo with the corner just as referenced in the picture. And then,
Shoot a charge dart.
C Site:
Into C, it is one of the easiest yet most effective darts. As we mentioned previously, you are associated with your team and especially duelists as a Sova, this dart will help any jett or neon easily enter and take space of back site by revealing it.
Come into this corner, against the wall where you can safely obtain line of sight to the wall just as in the picture.
And then, shoot a fully charged 1 bounce dart.
Sova Lineups - Defending Side
It might not seem inevitably clear how important an initiator like Sova is on defense, but the reality is you play a key part in winning even defensive sides. Utilizing Sova’s ability kit to gather as much information as you can on the attacking team’s positioning and moves can be the game changer and lead to victory. Here are the best lineups to defend and gather early information with Sova:
A Site:
Early information is key, especially when it comes to defending A site. As attackers can overwhelm the positions and take quick control of the area. This dart will be hard to shoot especially when comboed with a raze nade or breach stun, and it will reveal everyone on A lobby.
To do it, just peek right around this corner safely and as soon as you find suiting shoot a
Fully charged dart.
C Site:
C site is a rather complicated site as there is one way to enter it, which is most efficiently through C main. But, it is also harder to keep control of unless you’re a sentinel. When players just burst into it, this can be tricky and therefore hard to maintain. That’s why, getting early information and control of the C lobby area is your advantage. This dart will land on C lobby revealing everyone there and even some more towards CT.
To do it, simply peek right around the corner when the barrier drops and then try to find this spot. It’s pretty straight forward, get line of sight and you will get a direct shot at it.
Make sure to shoot a fully charged dart, this will make it arrive quickly and give you instant information.
Sova Lineups - Retakes
Retaking is a part of playing defense, but it reverses the roles as after you’ve lost site it’s almost like you’re attacking to open site again. With that, you need proper lineups and knowledge to corner attackers and ensure your team gets the lead when it comes to positions and info. Here are the best retaking lineups for Sova:
A Site:
To retake A site, you will definitely need to clear it with utility. Otherwise, it is purely impossible to rush enemies that are not at player disadvantage. Even then, it can be rather difficult. This dart will land perfectly to reveal most of the spots that you need to be aware of while retaking A site.
Come into A heaven as you rotate to prepare for the A site retake, and then slowly by the wall find line of sight to this spot shown in the picture and then
As you want to execute, shoot a fully charged dart.
B Site:
The ultimate B retake dart. It is very simply, yet very efficient. As most attackers tend to play on site, this will reveal all of the positions that you need to worry about on site. It won’t reveal deep onto B main, but it will still catch a few attackers who are peeking.
Come here as you rotate from A or C site and stand by the wall then slowly find this spot on the wall, do that so you don’t get shot by anyone on site as it’s safer to obtain line of sight as so and then,
Shoot a fully charged dart.
C Site:
To retake C, you will need a dart that will reveal anyone close to main but also on site. As revealing closer corners is the easier part, but you will definitely need utility for anyone on site itself. This dart will be perfect for you
Simply come to CT as you rotate to execute the retake on C site and then find this first little waterfall, and aim right next to it.
And then, shoot a fully charged 1 bounce arrow.
