GTA 6 Pre-Orders Start June 25
Rockstar has finally broken its quiet streak on GTA 6, and fans now have an actual date to circle.
Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders will officially open on June 25, 2026, through digital stores and select retailers.
The announcement arrived alongside the game’s official cover art, giving fans one of the biggest updates since Rockstar confirmed the latest delay.
For months, the GTA community had been watching every tiny store listing, retailer placeholder, and Take-Two comment for signs of when pre-orders would begin. Now, after plenty of rumors and speculation, Rockstar has made it official.
GTA 6 Cover Art Revealed
The new cover keeps the classic Grand Theft Auto look alive, with a collage-style design packed with characters, vehicles, action, and chaos.
Jason and Lucia are front and center, making it clear that the duo will be the face of this new chapter.
Around them, the artwork shows the kind of wild Vice City energy fans expected, from flashy cars and helicopters to the now-unavoidable alligator that has basically become part of GTA 6’s Leonida identity.
It feels familiar in the best way. Rockstar is clearly leaning into the old GTA cover formula, but with a modern Vice City twist.
Rockstar Starts the GTA 6 Marketing Push
The timing makes sense, too. Take-Two previously hinted that GTA 6 marketing would properly begin around summer, and this announcement feels like the real start of that push.
Rockstar also updated the official GTA 6 site with new visuals, including a wide look at Vice City’s skyline. The city looks bright, expensive, messy, and dangerous, which is exactly the kind of mood fans expect from a modern return to Vice City.
With pre-orders opening soon, the next major question is price.
GTA 6 Price and Editions Are Still Unknown
Rockstar has not confirmed how much GTA 6 will cost, and it has not revealed any special editions yet.
That should change once pre-orders go live. Fans are expecting the June 25 rollout to finally show whether GTA 6 sticks to the usual premium game price or comes in higher, along with any deluxe or collector-style editions Rockstar plans to offer.
