If you’re playing Sova and you feel the need to learn a few lineups so you can elevate your gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. While lineups aren’t mandatory to be a good Sova; it can be the differentiator between a good and a great one.

It can also improve your KDA as you no longer would have to stand right in the open with your bow in hand to try and hit a reveal, safe to say it is much more efficient to learn a lineup or two.

In this guide, we will take you through key locations on Abyss that you can reveal to increase your chances of winning your rounds and games, so let’s start:

Attacking Side

A Site

This lineup reveals close A main. This ensures that you can walk up safely as it will expose any aggressive defending players. It can also guarantee you kills as you can wallbang them through the box.

Where to stand: Right against the left side of the barrier on A lobby.

To do it, you need to lineup the edge of your top left charge bar with the brick on the wall just like shown in the picture. Then, hit a 2 bounce, full charge arrow.

Another lineup that will be tailored to executing A site, is this one that lands on a high spot revealing everyone on back site and other key positions on site.

Where to stand: Right against the left corner of A lobby. Please beware from falling off the map.

To do it, you would need to line up the HUD line to the right of your drone with the little triangle on the wall as shown in the picture. Then, do a 2 charge arrow.

B Site

Over to B site, this lineup is godlike. It will reveal almost every key position on site, and it is very hard to break. It’s also very easy to do, read on

Where to stand: Stand right against the barrier (left side) on B lobby, as shown in the picture.

All you need to do is to line your charge bar up with the stone pillar as shown in the picture, and then shoot a 1 bounce 2 bar charge arrow.

Defending Side

A Site

sova_setup_defense_a

This may not seem like the best defensive Arrow, but indeed it is a great lineup for retakes on A site. It will reveal any enemy playing on site, and some positions on main.

Where to stand: Anywhere on CT. Make sure you’re not exposed to enemies.

All you have to do is simply aim at the top wall, and send a full charged arrow.

B Site

This arrow on B site will give you early information on B main, it reveals all positions you need to know about and is enough to expose a sneaky push.

Where to stand: Against the corner of CT pushout. Just like shown in the picture.

To do it, you simply have to aim slightly above the wooden boxes and send a 2 bounce, fully charged dart.

Pro Tips

  • Always make sure you are safe from enemies pushing you before performing a lineup. While some lineups can be done very quickly, you still need to keep that in mind to not get caught off guard.

  • Refer to the pictures to understand where to stand and where to aim for the lineup to work. It is best to practice it in a custom before heading to a Ranked game.

  • You can try to innovate and alternate the lineups to your liking if you find it better, it is scenario dependent but you are free to get creative. Simply a turn to the right or left may change where the Arrow goes.

  • As a Sova, lineups aren’t everything. Timing is everything. Make sure to use your abilities at a good time to get the best out of it.

  • Make sure you don’t spam these arrows consistently as this will lead enemies to pre-aim your arrows’ locations and break them instantly. Instead, alternate between the lineups for better efficiency.
