This will be the only guide you need on the best TP spots for Yoru on the map Split.

While Yoru has always been an underwhelming agent in the duelist role, many still believe that his abilities can open up room for creative and unstoppable plays.

Split is one of the overwhelming maps that require smart strategic ways to approach on both defensive and attacking sides. Uniquely, it is one of the few maps that allow duelists like Yoru to shine and frag out.

In this article, we will explore his abilities and highlight the best teleports for each key location on Split. Whether you're a veteran player or just starting out, this guide will provide you with the knowledge to control and dominate your opponents with Yoru effectively. Get ready to take your gameplay to the next level!

Teleport Lineups - Attacking Side

While duelists are often associated with aggressive playstyles and flashy plays to open up sites and get entries, it might not be the case with all such as with Yoru. This agent leans more toward the deceiving playstyle; mastermind of games and tricks to get to the desired goal. With your kit, you don’t want to just run in looking for aim duels, you rather create a play where your enemy is completely unable to react. We will show you the best set of plays to do on Yoru:

A Site:

Starting with A site on split, it can possibly be the harder site to execute. Here’s how you can effectively take A with Yoru. In this setup you will aim to teleport towards Rafters or ramps. With a flash against the upway into ramps and an instant teleport, you might be able to catch enemies off guard.

To do this you simply need to be on A main. Relatively, it is a safe setup as you don’t really need to clear anything except for any sort of aggression early on A main. Then, look at that line just like shown in the picture and place your teleport. Then, follow it up with a flash against the wall and TP when you find it suiting. Don’t forget to wait for your gatecrash (tp) to reach the desired location first.

Remember that the flashes shown in pictures are where you’re supposed to BOUNCE the flash from. Not where it should land!

Alternatively, you can teleport into the defenders CT, also known as Screens on A site. While this won’t grant you a direct entry into site it can sandwich the enemies and possibly force them to take a double sided fight into your advantage. Follow it up with a flash on the ground to ensure you distract anyone on elbow.

This is an even safer teleport to perform, just stand in this angle on A main aiming at the wall just like the picture shows. Then place your TP and then you might need to peek out to flash when you’re executing your plans.

B Site:

Into B site, the most common and efficient teleport will be on backsite. Not behind pillars, but backsite behind the giant wooden wall. With a flash against the wall nearby it is almost guaranteed you take control of that space everytime.

Simply stand here and aim under that paper shown in the picture. Then place your teleport and right before teleporting you can throw the flash against the wall.

While this isn’t a pretty common setup it might be useful to clear close corners. Teleporting around pillar right on the wooden box will ease the process of clearing close left and right while also providing you with cover from A heaven or back pillar on site.

Get to this corner on B main and throw your teleport then wait for it to hit the box before teleporting. Don’t forget to flash against the wall on B main to nail the enemies off guard.

Teleport Lineups - Defending Side

Duelists don’t serve much compared to other roles on defense. Or do they? In a defensive side your job as a duelist is so to be the aggression firepower so you can still maintain pressure on the enemy whilst not overextending. With Yoru, you can be a flank machine and place unbelievable pressure as long as you use your utility the right way. Here’s how you can do that:

A Site:

To defend A site we’re thinking about a teleport that can help you instantly flank the attackers. Here you can immediately teleport to A lobby and possibly get some insane kills from there.

Just stand in A Heaven and aim around that area of the giant wall and then place your TP. make sure to throw it a bit before the attackers execute as there is travel time of the gatecrash to account for. Follow it up with a flash and you should be good to go.

B Site:

On B site, we’re thinking about two main ways to flank attackers. One being more disciplined and aimed towards their spawn, and one towards B main. For this one, you can flash anywhere just to distract them or possibly not at all if you find that suiting.

Stand right behind this wooden box on B site and look as shown in the picture, then place your teleport and wait for it to reach the desired location.

Mid:

For the first setup on Mid, you would teleport into the Hut towards B main after a flash against the wall. This will provide you with cover against Sewers and put you behind the enemies.

Simply stand in vents and aim at that portion of the wall just like shown in the picture. Place your teleport and then follow it up with a flash as it’s mandatory because you will be right up the enemy’s back when you execute.

Moving onto mid on split, it might not appear to you that there are multiple ways of flanking them especially on defense but here’s the plan: An instant flash followed up with a TP right behind the attackers on Mid.

Pro Tip: For any of the setups above, you can always fake teleport if you just want to change your pace or confuse the enemies. Best done after you’ve already performed them once to make your enemies believe into the fake.
