These lineups can be used to clear out areas, gather information, and even secure kills.
There are many different Fade lineups that can be used on various maps in Valorant, each with its own specific purpose and application. Today we will demonstrate the best Fade lineups for each key location on the map Pearl that will enable you to utilize her kit to the maximum of its ability and ensure the highest chances of winning.
These lineups will cover all the important aspects such as attacking, defending, and even retaking. Whether you’re a veteran player or just starting out on the agent, this guide will be a step up and great help for your gameplay on Fade while playing Pearl.
Fade Lineups - Attacking Side
While initiators are often associated with duelists, they play in a completely different way and adapt various possibilities than what a duelist player would. She is classified as an information initiator, unlike the flasher initiators who are more focused to find ways to flash for their duelist’s entry, you as a Fade try to find the gaps in the enemy team and gather information that your team can use to open and execute sites a lot more effectively. Here’s how you can utilize Fade's lineups on attack:
Taking look at the first lineup to execute A site, this dart will allow for a reveal across the entirety of A site. It’s a god reveal and it only misses spots like dugout or CT.
To do this dart, stand by the wooden box’s edge just as in the picture and aim at that spot.
When you do so, make sure you do a running jump throw haunt.
For B site, this will reveal everyone on site and even some of the players on B Link. The only exception being B halls.
To do this lineup, come into this corner on B long and aim at this spot. Then,
Simply do a jumping throw.
This lineup will reveal both A main and anyone peeking art. This gives a perfect combination of information to know whether or not defenders are playing aggressive on A and where as well.
Come into the corner presented on the picture and stick yourself to it (look at the minimap for reference) and then look at that spot. Then,
Just throw your haunt.
Fade Lineups - Defending Side
It might not seem inevitably clear how important an initiator like Fade is on defense, but the reality is you play a key part in winning even defensive sides. Utilizing her ability kit to gather as much information as you can on the attacking team’s positioning and moves can be the game changer and lead to victory. Here are the best lineups to defend and gather early information with Fade:
To defend A site this will help you a lot as it gathers quick early information and will inevitably catch your enemies off guard most of the times. Fade haunts usually land very high, making it hard to destroy at first and even if they do, it gives a good distraction.
Come into this left corner of A main as a defender and stick yourself to the barrier, (pre-round) and then do
A jumping throw
This lineup is very useful and easy, especially since you can do it as you rotate or as you hold Mid Link and support your teammates on B site. It reveals anyone on B long around the area range shown in the picture above.
To do it, just come around this area, it would not matter much where you aim exactly as long as you do this and then do
A running jump throw.
This is the all time best lineup for Mid on the defensive side. It will reveal everyone, no matter where they are and it’s also very hard to destroy which is a huge plus.
Come into Mid link, and stand against the barrier or just where you see in the picture. And then, simply line your mouse HUD box to the spot referenced.
And then, jump and throw your haunt.
Fade Lineups - Retakes
Retaking is a part of playing defense, but it reverses the roles as after you’ve lost site it’s almost like you’re attacking to open site again. With that, you need proper lineups and knowledge to corner attackers and ensure your team gets the lead when it comes to positions and info. Here are the best retaking lineups for Fade:
This haunt will reveal A site extremely well. It will land very high on one of A site’s buildings, and it will reveal anyone playing site and possibly a little bit of main.
To do the haunt, simply come to this corner and aim right where at that corner of the building. And then,
Do a jumping throw.
Similarly, you can get an extremely good reveal on B site from Mid Link.
Come into this corner on Mid link, and aim at the spot shown in the picture. Then, simply do a shift walk jump throw.
This means you press shift, walk forward and then immediately jump and throw your haunt.
