T1 Meteor Speaks Up About The Reyna Bug

Reyna just got disabled from the competitive queue across all regions because of a crucial bug that doesn't allow her to heal properly.

Meteor is a professional player for T1, who just recently won the first international event of the 2025 VCT year, Masters Bangkok. During these matches, Meteor played Reyna on Abyss. Recently, he discovered the bug that led to Reyna getting disabled and that raised some concerns about the competitive integrity for those who played her in VCT.

What's the deal?

Valorant announced not so long ago that Reyna has been disabled until they find a fix to her heals.

Currently, the amount of heal that displays to you when you kill an enemy and use that healing soul orb is not correct. It isn't just a matter of wrong display; as sometimes you will not heal even though it shows that you have.

Meaning, you could be 150 HP and die to a marshal body shot which does 101 damage. This is a big disadvantage and this is why she was disabled.

Now you may ask, okay, the agent was disabled and the bug will be fixed, what matters so much? The question goes: For how long has this been a thing without anyone noticing it?

As we know, pro players have played Reyna during official VCT matches like Masters Bangkok. While it was mentioned as a bug that came with the 10.05 patch, we don't really know the validity of that.

Additionally, T1's coach made a comment about this wondering if they had lost Abyss with that bug. Although they won the event, it remains a good question to ask, could we be facing disadvantages without knowing them?

Needless to say, Riot will get this fixed ASAP. And answering the question, no, it is quite rare to have a situation like this. So don't get paranoid!
