All Upcoming Tejo Nerfs Explained

In Valorant’s upcoming Patch 10.09, Riot Games is taking a step back on Tejo’s power, especially when it comes to his rockets.
Right now, Tejo's kit is causing some balance issues in competitive matches, with his rocket ability being too dominant and difficult to counter.
To even things out, Riot is making some key adjustments that bring him more in line with other Initiators. A full video breakdown of these changes is expected to drop tomorrow.
Here’s what’s changing for Tejo in Patch 10.09
Rockets
-
He now spawns with only one rocket.
-
A second rocket can be purchased for 150 credits.
-
Rocket range is being reduced from 55 meters to 45 meters.
-
Rocket cooldown has been completely removed.
Drone
-
Price increased from 300 to 400 credits.
Special Delivery Stun
-
Price dropped from 300 to 200 credits.
Armageddon (Ultimate)
-
Ult points requirement increased from 8 to 9.
What the Pros Are Saying
Not everyone’s happy with the changes. One pro player commented, “They understand that nobody will even think about playing him, right? What is this balancing?”
They went on to say they hope there’s been some kind of misunderstanding in the leaks. While the Tejo meta hasn’t been everyone’s favorite, some players feel the nerfs go too far, essentially pushing him out of the meta entirely.
We've seen this happen with a few agents like Chamber. While he was strong and shaped an entire meta, when he got nerfed... we kind of never heard of him again.
