Latest Update Regarding VCT NA Accusations

There’s been a lot of talk recently around serious concerns in the NA Challengers scene, including match-fixing, cheating, and other competitive integrity issues.

Riot's VCT team has officially launched an investigation into these matters, beginning in early May when the first reports came in.

Since then, efforts have been made to gather all relevant information. To ensure a fair and complete process, Riot is working closely with trusted integrity partners like IBIA, Sportradar, GRID, and others. These organizations bring experience and support to help make sure nothing is missed.

Investigations like this take time. It’s important to confirm every claim with real, verifiable evidence. 

Latest Update on the NA Challengers Investigation

It’s also important to understand that match-fixing isn’t just a violation of game rules—it can also be considered a criminal act in many places.

In cases where legal lines are crossed, Riot works directly with law enforcement and regulatory bodies to assist their efforts.

Updates will be shared when appropriate, but for now, protecting the integrity of the process is key. Sharing too much too soon could affect the outcome or allow interference. 

If anyone receives or becomes aware of information related to misconduct, it should be reported directly to league officials or Riot. Avoid engaging with the matter beyond that, as stated in the Code of Conduct.
