The Esports World Cup (EWC) is bringing some of the best teams in the world head-to-head in an action-packed tournament you won’t want to miss.

Schedule & Format

The EWC Valorant tournament kicks off with the Group Stage, where 16 teams are split into 4 groups.

The matches will follow a double elimination format, meaning teams get a second chance even if they lose once in the early rounds.

After the group phase, the top two teams from each group will move on to the Playoffs, which will be a single-elimination bracket leading up to the grand finals.

Exact matches haven't been set yet, aside from the groups. Although, the group stage will take place from 8th to 11th July.

Playoffs will take place from 11th to 14th July.

The Bracket

Here’s how the 16 participating teams are grouped for the opening round:

Group A

  • G2 Esports

  • Bilibili Gaming

  • Paper Rex

  • Karmine Corp

This group is stacked with explosive talent. Expect fast plays and high aggression.

Group B

  • XLG Esports

  • Sentinels

  • BBL Esports

  • DRX

A spicy mix of regions here. Sentinels and DRX are the obvious heavyweights, but BBL and XLG have both proven they can pull surprises.

Group C

  • RRQ

  • Team Heretics

  • NRG

  • Titan Esports Club

This group could go either way. NRG is always a threat, but Team Heretics and Titan have strong tactical foundations that could shake things up.

Group D

  • FNATIC

  • Gen.G Esports

  • Edward Gaming

  • 100 Thieves

Group D might just be the “group of death.” All four teams have deep tournament experience, and any of them could make a serious run at the title.
