With Stage 2 of VCT EMEA approaching, fans get an exclusive glimpse into the developments made since Stage 1. From production improvements to new player initiatives and fan experiences, the next chapter of the season is set to raise the bar.

This update focuses on transparency,  showing how the VCT experience is evolving across the region, how the broadcast is being refined, and how fans will get even closer to the action.

Studio Upgrades

Since the conclusion of Stage 1, efforts have been concentrated on enhancing the on-site experience for players, broadcast talent, and fans.

One major area of focus has been upgrading the Pro Player Performance Rooms. These practice spaces now better mimic live match conditions, equipped with improved peripherals for reliable, high-level preparation.

Additionally, plans are in place to introduce new, high-spec PCs later this year, which will be ready for rollout in the 2026 season. These improvements aim to create greater consistency between practice and on-stage gameplay, helping players perform at their best.

The broadcast audio setup has also been enhanced with new, advanced audio hardware to improve sound quality for both on-site talent and co-streamers. This upgrade delivers a clearer, more immersive listening experience for fans worldwide.

Furthermore, a new partnership with Herman Miller Gaming has introduced their Embody Gaming Chairs as the official seating on the main stage. This collaboration ensures players enjoy top-tier comfort and support throughout every round of Stage 2.

Introducing the Pro Player Council

Creating a platform for player feedback remains a priority to help evolve the league experience.

The newly formed VCT EMEA Pro Player Council offers players a structured forum to share insights and influence the league’s future.

Each team nominated a representative to participate, guaranteeing every organization maintains a direct communication line with league leadership.

In addition to regular meetings, a dedicated chat server has been established for council members, allowing ongoing discussions and real-time feedback throughout the season.

Broadcast Enhancements and Fan-Focused Features

Alongside upgrades for players, the broadcast experience is also being enhanced to bring fans closer to the competition.

Several new features will debut in Stage 2, all designed to deepen the connection between viewers, players, and the unfolding narratives of each match.

On-Site Fan Experience Upgrades

For fans attending the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, Stage 2 begins with a special celebration.

To mark VALORANT’s 5-Year Anniversary, doors will open early in Week 1 for the VALORANT Anniversary Vernissage, a fan art exhibition showcasing the creativity of the VCT EMEA community.

Highlights include:

  • A curated collection of standout community art

  • Complimentary snacks and drinks

  • Opportunities to connect with fellow fans and creators

  • 1v1 showdowns with popular creators Harmii and Jessydelua using the new Phaseguard skinline at a dedicated gaming station

This event offers something for every fan, whether focused on competition or soaking up the community vibe.
