Champions Paris 2025: Everything You Need To Know

The wait is over. VALORANT Champions 2025 has arrived in Paris. After a year of intense rivalries, dramatic comebacks, and unforgettable highlights, the best teams in the world are ready to battle for the coveted title of World Champion.

The City of Light is hosting the grand finale of the VALORANT season, and the stage is set for history.

The Road to Paris

Only the strongest teams have earned a spot at Champions. Sixteen teams will compete on the biggest stage in VALORANT.

• Direct qualification: The top two teams from each International League secured their place automatically.

• Championship Points: Eight additional teams were invited based on points earned throughout the season.

Together, they represent the very best VALORANT has to offer.

Tournament Format

Champions Paris takes place from September 12 to October 5 across two phases of competition.

Group Stage: September 12–22

• 16 teams divided into 4 groups

• Each group includes one representative from every International League

• Double-elimination format, with two teams from each group advancing to the next round

Playoffs: September 25–October 5

• The final 8 teams are seeded into a double-elimination bracket

• Teams from the same group will not be placed on the same side of the bracket

• Best-of-three matches until the final two rounds, which are Best-of-five

• The winner of the Grand Final will be crowned the 2025 VALORANT World Champion

Pick’Ems and Community Factions

Pick’Ems are back. You can predict results in-game or on the official VALORANT Esports website, earn exclusive rewards, and track your progress against friends, pros, and creators on the leaderboard.

Key dates:

• Group Stage Picks: September 4–12

• Playoff Picks: September 22–25

Community Factions also return this season. Each faction is led by a co-streamer, and your Pick’Ems success contributes to your squad’s overall rank. Represent your faction and help push your team to the top.

Champions Collection and MVP

The special Champions 2025 skin line celebrates the Paris event with a bold new design. It is available for a limited time.

The Champions MVP award, first introduced last year, will once again highlight the standout player of the tournament. After the Grand Final, a new name will be added to VALORANT history and the winner will take home a custom MVP bracelet created in collaboration with Good Art.

Fans watching live matches can earn unique rewards throughout the tournament:
