Everything About The New Agent Miks
Riot Games has officially revealed Miks, the newest playable character coming to Valorant.
The agent joins the roster as a Controller and becomes the game’s 30th agent, adding another option for players who focus on controlling space and supporting teammates during rounds.
The reveal happened during Valorant Masters: Santiago, where Riot also showcased gameplay through a trailer and a showmatch.
Miks Release Date
Miks will officially become playable on March 18, launching alongside Season 2026’s Act 2.
Players already got a first look at how the agent works through early gameplay shown during the Masters broadcast, giving fans an idea of how the new Controller fits into the current meta.
All Miks Abilities
As a Controller, Miks focuses on space control and team utility. The agent’s abilities also revolve around sound-based effects that can disrupt enemies or help teammates.
Harmonize
Players can equip Harmonize and target a teammate to grant both players a Combat Stim. The effect refreshes with each kill. There is also an alternate option to use the ability on yourself.
M-pulse
This ability lets players throw a device that sends out sound waves when it lands. The device can be toggled to either Concuss enemies or Heal players, depending on which mode is selected before throwing it.
Waveform
Waveform allows Miks to place smokes using a map targeter. Players can select multiple locations and deploy smokes across the map to block vision and help teammates move safely.
Bassquake (Ultimate)
Miks’ ultimate ability sends a wave of Sonic Radiance forward. Enemies hit by the ability are knocked back, deafened, and slowed, creating an opportunity for teammates to push or retake control of an area.
New Content Arriving With the Update
Miks will not be the only addition coming in the new Act.
Riot also revealed a new cosmetic set called the Blackthorn Collection, along with a new game mode called Knockout.
With a new agent, cosmetics, and game mode arriving together, Act 2 of the 2026 season looks set to bring several fresh changes to the game.
