On the semifinals press conference for Valorant Champions Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom had the following to say about Acend
Carriço: How do you think you match up playstyle-wise against Acend, and what are some of the things that make Acend one of the best teams in the world?
ScreaM: Obviously Acend is one of the best teams in the world, obviously they are from EMEA, and everybody is so skilled in EMEA I think it's going to be a lot about the aim duels in this game. We won against them already, and I think we can do it again.
ScreaM is Team Liquid superstar player and his recent performances are one of the reasons for the European team's success, if the game ends up being deciding on aim duels then the Belgian player will be a big factor for it, he is called the headshot machine for a reason.
Team Liquid has been performing at a high level at Valorant Champions and is one of the favorites to take the trophy home, they defeated Acend at Red Bull Home Ground 2 finals 3-1, their last tournament previous to Valorant Champions, and will look to do the same this Saturday at 5 PM WET.
