While VCT Champions is ongoing, the fans have enjoyed the heated trash talk between players which gave the event a spice of extra rivalry that is entertaining to watch. At first, it seemed like Riot did not have any issues with players bringing up this rivalry through “BM” ways, but that seems to not be the case anymore.
Paper Rex Confirms That Riot Warned Them For Tea Bagging EG
During a press conference post-match after Paper Rex won against Evil Geniuses 2-1, there was a question brought up regarding tea bagging and what is the team vibe like when such things are done in-game.

Paper Rex responded that they do it just for fun, however, they also said “Actually, we got a warning for it” confirming that Riot does indeed still ban tea bagging or this form of bad manners in-game.
The coach later said “honestly, I don’t really like it, cause you get carried away”
It is important to remember that Evil Geniuses started tea bagging, which Paper Rex did in response. Therefore, it’s the same to assume that both teams got a fair warning for doing such a thing in-game.
