Written by: ASH

In a thrilling match of the EMEA Kickoff, Marshall "N4RRATE" Massey from Karmine Corp set a new record for kills in a single game. The American player achieved an astonishing 40 kills against FUT Esports, surpassing the previous record held by Georgio "Keiko" Sanassy of Team Liquid. This victory secured Karmine Corp a spot in the Play-In stage for a chance at the playoffs.

The match, which ended in a 20-18 victory for Karmine Corp, was highlighted by N4RRATE's exceptional performance on the Lotus map. His 40 kills not only set a new record for the VCT EMEA but also marked the second-highest kill count in the history of VALORANT franchise matches.

The previous EMEA record was 37 kills, set by Keiko during his debut. However, the world record is still held by Yuma "Dep" Hashimoto of ZETA DIVISION, with 42 kills.

With this win, Karmine Corp joins Team Vitality in the Play-In stage, where they will compete for a spot in the Masters Madrid 2024. The final spot will be decided in a match between Team Liquid and KOI.
