Best Modern Warfare 2 CDL Moshpit Loadouts

Best Modern Warfare 2 CDL Moshpit Loadouts
Written by: Shizza

CDL Moshpit is finally here, which Activision developed to help bridge the gap between competitive players desperately wanting to queue in Ranked play, which will launch in 2023. After a delay of two weeks, Activisioin finally introduced the playlist.

The Moshpit playlist features the same ruleset, map pool, and game modes as Ranked Play without an official ELO system. You can officially begin gaining ELO points as soon as Ranked Play launches. Following are the best CDL Moshpit loadouts, so check them out!

Best CDL Moshpit Loadout: Primary Weapons

It is necessary to note that the Moshpit and CDL Private matches share loadouts. The developers stated,  “We recommend players create their preferred loadouts in a CDL Private Match lobby.”

1. M4

  • Muzzle: Sakin Tread-40
  • Barrel: Hightower 20″ Barrel
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Rear Grip: Xten Grip
  • Stock: Demo Precision Elite Factory

The M4 works amazingly in medium-range engagements but holds up pretty well on its own up close and personal. Players will not have to deal with much recoil either when using the M4, but to make sure the AR fires even more like a laser, the Sakin Tread-40 reduces horizontal and vertical recoil.

For Modern Warfare 2 weapons, it is always a good idea to utilize attachments with no downsides, and the FSS Sharkfin enhances aiming idle stability with zero tradeoffs. The Hightower 20” Barrel reduces movement speed as well as ADS but more than makes up for it with improved bullet velocity, recoil control, and damage range.

Likewise, the Demo Precision Elite Factory stock reduces mobility while also increasing recoil control and aiming stability. At last, the 5.56 High Velocity ammunition enhances the bullet velocity, which makes it easier to knock out your enemies.

2. Vaznev-9K

  • Muzzle: Bruen Pendulum
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin 90
  • Stock: Otrezat Stock
  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip

The Vaznev-9K is considered the only SMG option in an AR-dominated meta. The SMG is pretty easy to use and is perfect for aggressive competitive players. However, we recommend that you use only the above four attachments with the weapon, as any more will put off the balance of Vaznev-9K.

As it was stated above, the FSS Sharkfin enhances the aiming idle stability. The Otrezat Stock improves the walking speed as well as sprints, and the True-Tac Grip helps sprint to fire and ADS speed.

3. TAQ 56

  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Rear Grip: Demo Cleanshot Grip
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin
  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Stock: TV Xline Pro

The TAQ-56 has devastating damage at range which gives players a different option as compared to the more well-rounded M4. Only the Kastov-74 bests the Assault Rifle’s TTK among class offerings, and a forgiving recoil makes the TAQ-56 easy to use.

The FSS Sharkfin 90 helps with the weapon’s recoil, and the 17.5” Tundra Pro Barrel improves the bullet velocity as well as the damage range. In CDL Moshpits, winning gunfights against highly skilled enemies comes down to the closest of margins.

The 5.56 High Velocity rounds enhance bullet velocity, potentially being the difference between winning or losing in a gunfight.

4. Kastov-74u

  • Rear Grip: True-Tac Grip
  • Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
  • Ammunition: 5.45 High Velocity
  • Barrel: BR209 Barrel
  • Stock: Otrezat Stock

The Kastov-74u was banned from CDL action, and its class-leading TTK speed supports the decision. Nevertheless, players can still equip the AR in CDL Moshpit if they want to, and it absolutely dominates over other weapons in close-range gunfights.

The loadouts above mainly focus on making the Kastov-74u more mobile than before while also dealing massive damage. The Otrezat Stock and BR209 Barrel enhance the ADS speed as well as the movement speed, while the True-Tac Grip improves sprint-to-fire and ADS Speed.

However, one weakness of the weapon is its punishing recoil. The VX Pineapple improves the recoil steadiness and aim walking steadiness of the weapon. Finally, the 5.45 High Velocity rounds enhance bullet velocity.

5. MCPR-300

  • Rear Grip: Cronen Cheetah Grip
  • Ammunition: .300 Mag High Velocity
  • Stock: FSS Merc Stock
  • Magazine: 5-Round Mag

The MCPR-300 hits like a truck, which is why most pros end up picking this weapon in case they decide to pull out a sniper. A con of dealing massive damage is slower mobility. However, to help make up for the weapon’s sluggishness, the Cronen Cheetah Grip, 5-Round Mag, and FSS Merc Stock improve the ADS speed and sprint-to-fire speed.

6. L-AB 330

  • Ammunition: .300 High Velocity
  • Stock: Bryson Streamline
  • Comb: Aim-Assist 406

In case you are not a huge fan of the heavier MCPR-300, then you should consider the L-AB 330, which offers a lightweight sniper that is more suited for aggressive players. The Bryson Streamline and Aim-Assist 406 improve the sprint-to-fire speed, movement, and ADS speed.

Best CDL Moshpit loadout: Secondary Weapons

It is worth remembering that the combat knife is also a pretty great secondary option in case you want to get around the maps quicker and never use a pistol anyways.

  • Rear Grip: Cronen Lima-6
  • Muzzle: XRK Ventor-900
  • Trigger Action: XRK Ligting Fire

The majority of the CDL Pros use the X12 since the speedy pistol comes with incredible mobility and fire speed. The XRK Lighting Fire will allow players to get off consecutive shots quicker. The Cronen Lima-6 and XRK Ventor-900 improve the ADS speed and recoil control, respectively.

Best CDL Moshpit Loadout: Perks & Equipment

All of the ultimate perks are banned in competitive matches, so you only need to worry about the three base perks and bonus perks. Talking about the first two perk slots, we recommend that players choose between Bomb Squad, Double Time, and Battle Hardened.

Bomb Squad and Battle Hardened help alleviate grenade spam on respawn game modes, whereas Double Time is necessary for moving around quicker during SnD matches. Fast Hands should be the go-to selection for the bonus perk slot.

The last thing that players want is to lose a gunfight because they get caught reloading a weapon.

When it comes to deadly grenades in CDL Moshpit, we recommend that you use either a frag grenade or semtex. It comes down to personal preference since frag grenades can bounce into rooms, while semtex grenades stick to whichever surface you throw them at.

Each option has a suitable occasion for use. As for tactical grenades, the flash grenade was banned in CDL play, but it is still a good option in CDL Moshpit. Stun grenades come in handy for any game CDL mode, while smoke grenades are great for SnD.

Best CDL Moshpit loadout: Field Upgrades

The players of Modern Warfare 2 in the CDL Moshpit playlist should look at dead silence or the trophy system as their go-to field upgrade choice. For respawn game modes, it is always necessary to have a trophy system on the objective, whereas Dead Silence makes more sense for SnD matches.
