Fortnite 7 New Modes Leak

Just weeks after Epic Games confirmed it would shut down several Fortnite game modes, a new leak suggests the developer is already working on a wave of fresh experiences.
On March 24, Epic announced that Ballistic, Rocket Racing, and Festival Battle Stage would all be discontinued. Ballistic and Festival Battle Stage are set to go offline on April 6, while Rocket Racing will remain available until October.
Despite those removals, it looks like Fortnite’s overall content offering may actually grow. According to a leak shared by known insider Loolo, Epic currently has seven new modes in development.
Seven New Modes Leaked
While official names have not been revealed, the leaker shared codenames and brief details about each project.
One of the modes, WickedSmoke, is described as a social-focused experience, similar in style to existing casual and roleplay modes. Another, UnableRoman, is said to be a traditional team deathmatch mode, suggesting a more classic competitive format.
Two LEGO-themed modes are also reportedly in the works. Rivalry will introduce pilotable mechs, while CurioBox is expected to focus on social roleplay gameplay, similar to existing sandbox-style experiences.
New Reload Mode and Disney Tie-In
The leak also points to a new Reload mode, Fortnite’s smaller-scale battle royale format, featuring a new map codenamed MatchMist. This mode is expected to resemble fast-paced experiences like Resurgence-style gameplay.
In addition, two other projects, Bulldog and Husky, are rumored to be connected to the long-awaited Disney collaboration within Fortnite.
Potential Ballistic Replacement
One of the most notable mentions is BabyCorgi, which the leaker believes is linked to Ballistic. With Ballistic set to shut down soon, this new mode could act as a replacement for players who enjoyed the tactical shooter experience.
Although Ballistic never reached massive popularity, it built a dedicated fanbase. Content creator Typical Gamer even offered to buy the mode to keep it alive.
If the leak is accurate, it appears Epic is not scaling back Fortnite’s experiences, but instead shifting toward a broader and more diverse lineup of modes in the future, which is you know, controversial but still good for the game.
