When choosing an updraft spot, there will be many different usages for it. Such as gaining information or looking for a pick with your knives (ultimate) that allows you to be mobile and land shots. There are also attacking and defensive spots as in attacking you will be able to more likely score unpredictable kills while in defensive spots you will be looking to gain numbers advantage or gather information. Here you will find the best mixture that combines all of these aspects together, for the best Jett updrafts coming your way: 

What Does It Cover: This updraft will easily lend you vision to many position on A site including A heaven, Generator, Dice and even under. The only exception will be closer angles of the site.

When To Use It: If you suspect that a Cypher or a Killjoy is taking hold of A site, this will be a perfect time to utilize this double updraft to score that kill and ease your time entering the site.

What Makes It Good: Performing this dash is unpredictable for the enemies as they will be mainly focused on A main and short which will give you a free kill if you aim right. 

To do it, come over and jump on the side wall on A main then double updraft with your ultimate and pick someone off as you’d like.

What Does It Cover: This updraft will be the mirroring spot for the last lineup. That being where you will be able to view the entirety of A lobby with the exception of A long or A main.

When To Use It: You can use this updraft for information or to simply try and get a first pick. If enemies play slow or you don’t have your ultimate, this can be an easy way to identify their positions and/or get a kill.

What Makes It Good: The fact that you can utilize this updraft for different usages on defense makes you always come out with an advantageous position.

Simply jump on top of generator from A heaven and then double updraft from there to look at A lobby. 

What Does It Cover: This updraft will give you a direct line of sight to Catwalk and Short peekers. This is with the exclusion of anyone towards market or hiding behind any obstacle in the way.

When To Use It: Best used as a way to pick apart an enemy if they constantly peek mid. Or even better, if you suspect an operator player to be hunting for an early pick.

What Makes It Good: Any player on Short or Cat walk will not be able to hear you as you updraft from very far away, giving you a 100% chance that they will not see it coming.

Before you perform your updraft, you will need to updraft to this box (hut) on B lobby. And then, activate your ultimate and updraft once again to peek short or cat. 

What Does It Cover: Over to B this will cover many different angles depending on how you utilize it. You can have line of sight to Site, CT, Market or even closer angles if you wish.

When To Use It: Best used before executing site to get a free pick or if you were to retreat but would like to still score a kill to weaken the enemy lines.

What Makes It Good: The fact that you can have line of sight to many different angles on site makes this a perfect spot to use for your next updrafts. 

To do this updraft you will have 2 different windows to choose from. Each will give you a different view on site, once you’ve made up your mind simply come over to them and updraft with your ultimate. 

What Does It Cover: Once again a mirroring updraft as you will be doing this in a defensive manner instead. You will have a view of anyone in B main or B lobby easily. 

When To Use It: Best used to pick enemies apart either as a trade or before they commit to a site execute. You can also use it to gain information if you believe it might be fit.

What Makes It Good: While enemies can definitely hear you and see that updraft coming it’s still great because it can be quick enough to catch anyone off guard. 

Simply come over to Lane and then updraft whenever you see fit. You will be in direct contact with B lobby and B main. 

What Does It Cover: This next updraft will be a perfect one for any retakes on B site. As enemies usually play boat house, this will allow you to gain direct vision to it and even large portions of site over the switch house.

When To Use It: Use it whenever you want to gain information about enemies when retaking B site or to score kills if your ultimate was online.

What Makes It Good: The fact that enemies will not see it coming makes it a great choice, as they will be overwhelmed covering up Lane and stairs and not accounting for this off angle in the middle of the air. 

Simply come out of market and updraft or double updraft over the switch house and you will have full vision.

Pro Tips 

• Always ask your teammates for help when using such updrafts as flashes, baits or even sage wall boosts can help you immensely to get your job done.
  
  
• When your ultimate is not online, it is still viable to perform any of the previous updrafts but for a different purpose as you see fit. If that meant gaining information, depending on the scenario that could be a good play.
  
  
• Make sure to not immediately updraft at a certain spot after popping your ultimate, as if you do so enemies might expect it since most players activate their ultimate and updraft right away. Instead, activate your ultimate at the start of the round to give yourself a room of unpredictability.
  
  

• Keep in mind that enemies can hear your updraft in certain spots if you are not too far away from them, thus, making it harder for you to get the kill but it still is an advantage to your position as they need to react.
  
  
• By bolding “space” you will enable Jett’s passive ability which makes you float in the air.
