Neon Wall Lineups

While it seems too complicated to have lineups for Neon Walls, it actually is pretty simple to use and a little can go a long way during matches. Here we will show you the best spots to use your wall on defense, attack, and more. Do you have what it takes to master Neon? Let’s delve into the best Wall Spots:

A Site

What Does It Cover: This wall on A site will split the site into 2 sides, giving you an easy entry into Lamps or if you wish allowing you to explode out on site through the smoke.

When To Use It: Best used during fast executes, especially if you have a shotgun you will be able to easily devastate any opponent playing lamps.

What Makes It Special: If you are playing a shotgun, this will either give you a free entry on A every single time or force enemies to back off and give you control of lamps.

A Showers

What Does It Cover: This second wall on A site, more towards Showers, will shake enemies as you give yourself a quick cover to push up.

When To Use It: You can use this wall when you are planning to peek through showers aggressively as a teammate can flash through this wall for you and you can peek to get free kills.

What Makes It Special: Best part about it, is that you could fake the push and hide in the corner the wall creates, giving you another unexpected play to make.

B Site

What Does It Cover: This wall over to B site will help you get a fast entry from B long to B site. Though it’s specific use is to block anyone playing out of Elbow and help you take control over it.

When To Use It: Best used when you are pushing B but plan to take Elbow control, so you avoid smoking it and by using this wall you give yourself enough time to get there and punish any enemies playing in that area.

What Makes It Special: This wall is quite unexpected, enemies might not understand what you aim to do behind placing it which gives you an advantage.

B Site 2

What Does It Cover: This wall on B site doesn’t look so appealing, but in reality, it will force enemies to lose their post-plant positions as you push out of it.

When To Use It: Best used during retakes, you can do it through the window on Elbow that has been added to Bind, from there your teammates will be able to take back site much more freely.

What Makes It Special: This wall isolates the fights for your teammates and helps you get out of elbow and sandwich any enemies on site, so It’s worthy of a try next time you hit up Neon on bind.

Pro Tips

  • When playing Neon, it is clear that you need to become a master of movement. One cool mechanic is how you could use your stuns and abilities while in the movement mode of Neon. Keep that in mind and practice it to be able to comfortably create opportunities on the go for yourself.

  • Neon walls normally don’t go through objects. However, if you aim higher than an object or obstacle, it will go through it when thrown. This is a cool mechanic that could create slight “lineups” for neon walls, try it next!

  • When you have your slide and ultimate available, you can perform a cool double slide trick as by activating the ultimate you automatically recharge your slide giving you a free additional one. This is how pros do a double-slide stunt.

  • Remember that your stun has a short activation time, meaning enemies might try to peek you as soon as you throw it to catch you off guard. Mastering the timing of it will help you become a well-rounded neon player.

  • You can perform a neon backslide by jumping and pressing the “S” key the moment you drop down. Or by simply letting go of “W” and pressing “S” at the same time. That is while initiating the stun of course.

  • With neon you practically have 4 stuns as each one will bounce to stun (2) spots. However, you could always use it to double up on one spot, it is not necessary to have a lineup for each spot on the map to play the agent.

  • When you place a wall to enter site, don’t walk in it in a straight line as opponents might enter to kill you and if you’re not a moving target you will be very easy to shoot.

  • Try your best to avoid sliding close to an opponent as the closer you are the easier you become to be killed. If you’re a bit far, they will have to aim/track you before being able to shoot you down.

  • Your ultimate has a headshot damage multiplier, even though sometimes it is better to aim at the body, if you’re close enough/able to try to aim your ultimate on head level to kill enemies faster.

  • The range affects your ultimate’s damage, therefore try your best to avoid long-distance fights with it.
