Aya Nakamura Opens Fortnite Soundware Series

The Fortnite Soundwave Series is a series of musical shows featuring artists from around the world, and it’s almost time for the final artist in the announced line-up: record-breaking French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura.

Aya’s experience will air back-to-back for 72 hours starting Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 12 PM ET — delivering an interactive experience tailor-made for the setlist.

How To Watch The Aya Nakamura Experience

With an island by creator team Atlas Creative, featuring a music video and digital recreation of Aya by Mado XR, this interactive experience will captivate with its colorful visuals and personal feel. Just follow these easy steps to jump in!

1. Make sure Fornite is downloaded on your device
2. Launch the game
3. After you’ve launched Fortnite, click on the “CHANGE” button in the Lobby. This will bring up the “Discover” screen, where you can click on the SOUNDWAVE SERIES: AYA NAKAMURA tile. Alternatively, you can switch to the “Island Code” screen and input the island code 3500-0540-0065.

The experience will repeat non-stop for 72 hours (until Sunday, October 9, at 12 PM ET), so don’t worry if you can’t jump in right away. After you complete the experience, you’ll get some XP and some mementos: the Aya's Island Loading Screen and Soundwave Series - Aya Nakamura Spray!

Players also have the option to watch the experience via Picture-in-Picture while playing other creator-made experiences, Battle Royale, and more. This option is accessible through the Fortnite settings and is available during certain times of the event:

• Thursday, October 6, at 12 PM ET

• Friday, October 7, at 3 PM ET

• Saturday, October 8, at 2 PM ET

• Sunday, October 9, at 8 AM ET

Starting Wednesday, October 5, at 8 PM ET, the Copines Emote will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop. Perfect for the Island's beaches (or anywhere!), dance to the chorus of Copines mid-match.
