The content roadmap for the Season 1 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 was recently announced by Activision. The first season is all ready to release plenty of new features, such as maps, Operators, weapons, and so much more!

Talking about weapons, there is one specific weapon that has grabbed the attention of the community, which is the BAS-P SMG (sub-machine gun). The BAS-P SMG made an appearance in Modern Warfare II’s campaign.

After getting a first glance at the gun, the fans cannot wait to use the weapon in the game’s multiplayer mode. Unfortunately, their excitement quickly vanished and turned into disappointment when they found out that the gun was not available in the title at launch.

How To Unlock The BAS-P SMG In Modern Warfare II And Warzone 2.0

The multiplayer mode of Modern Warfare II consisted of 51 weapons upon launch. Regardless of a greater number of guns being featured in the campaign, not all of them made it to the multiplayer mode.

However, the upcoming Season will add four more weapons to the list, bringing the total to 55 weapons. These four brand-new weapons being introduced in the game include one Assault Rifle, one SMG, and two Assault Rifles. These are as follows:

• Chimera Assault Rifle (Bruen Ops Platform)
• Victus XMR Sniper Rifle (Imperatorium Platform)
• M13B Assault Rifle (Bruen Ops Platform)
• BAS-P SMG (Bruen Ops Platform)

The Chimera Assault Rifle and the M13B Assault Rifle can only be obtained during the middle of Season 1 of Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 by completing challenges and in-game store bundles.

However, the Victus XMR Sniper Rifle and BAS-P SMG are arriving at launch and will be available for free through the Battle Pass. The BAS-P SMG has not even arrived yet and has already become a fan-favorite.

The BAS-P SMG will be arriving with the first season of Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0. Just like every other weapon available at launch, the BAS-P will also have its own progression system.

For this reason, players will be able to unlock several different attachments for the gun, and progression on the weapon will count towards the Camo Mastery Challenges. By completing a Season 1 Battle Pass Tier, you will be able to unlock the weapon for free.

However, as of right now, there is no further information about the specific tier at which the BAS-P SMG can be unlocked. Weapons are generally available in Tier 15 or Tier 31, according to the previous games in the Call of Duty franchise.

For players who already own Modern Warfare II's Vault Edition, 50 Tier skips will be given as well as the Season 1 Battle Pass. All of this makes the weapon an instant unlock on the first day of release only.

The BAS-P SMG comes with a rapid-fire rate and is terrific for close-quarters combat. Moreover, Call of Duty's blog states that the gun has a high degree of customizability and subsonic ammunition.
