The Best Sova Lineups For Haven
Sova is a versatile initiator agent in Valorant, equipped with a powerful set of abilities that can gather information and control the battlefield. One of Sova's key strengths lies in his ability to set up precise lineups, which are pre-determined locations where his abilities will land. These lineups can be used to clear out areas, gather information, and even secure kills.
There are many different Sova lineups that can be used on various maps in Valorant, each with its own specific purpose and application. Today we will demonstrate the best Sova lineups for each key location on the map Haven that will enable you to utilize Sova’s kit to the maximum of its ability and ensure the highest chances of winning.
These lineups will cover all the important aspects such as attacking, defending, and even retaking. Whether you’re a veteran player or just starting out on the agent, this guide will be a step up and great help for your gameplay on sova while playing Haven.
Sova Lineups - Attacking Side
While initiators are often associated with duelists, they play in a completely different way and adapt various possibilities than what a duelist player would. Sova is classified as an information initiator, unlike the flasher initiators who are more focused to find ways to flash for their duelist’s entry, you as a sova try to find the gaps in the enemy team and gather information that your team can use to open and execute sites a lot more effectively. Here’s how you can utilize Sova's lineups on attack:
A Site:
Starting out on A site, it is quite hard to clear A long peekers sometimes. Especially when they are using an operator, you will need any sort of utility to clear that out. As defenders can also set up crossfires. This dart will land on the edge clearing both anyone peeking from A site and anyone on the right side hiding behind the boxes. It isn’t an execution dart so it won’t reveal anyone on site.
To do it, simply come in front of window and stand right by the wooden box. Then, try to find that curve on the tree and aim your crosshair just right there.
Then, shoot a 1 charge arrow.
If you want to execute A site instead, here’s an arrow that is exceptionally good and uncommon when attacking A. It will land on the edge of the right side on A heaven, clearing anyone playing site or even A heaven. It won’t clear anyone playing on short or CT.
To do this lineup, come to this corner, the cubby of A long and then look at the word Bounce. Focus on the letter U, and align it with that little spike of the building just like shown in the picture.
Then, perform a 2 charge arrow.
B Site:
There are two ways to attack B, one is for holding mid control which is essential on rounds where you predict that your enemies will push such as in ecos and the other is to execute the site itself. This will clear anyone trying to push out of B, but it won’t clear anyone on site.
Simply come here on Window, align yourself just so that window is visible like in the picture. Then try to aim towards the middle of the wall from under it,
And shoot a fully charged 1 bounce arrow.
This next dart will be the perfect execution arrow for B site. It will land behind the defenders on the wall, clearing anyone playing back site or in links and possibly even the cubby. It won’t clear anyone who is playing on the opposite side of the arrow at close corners.
Simply come to any place in front of B where you have direct line of sight to the wooden line of the wall at back site. Aim at it,
And send a fully charged dart.
This arrow is the most perfect lineup for attacking Garage. Whether you’re aiming to fake taking pressure of Garage or aiming to execute a split push to C site, this will get you covered as it clears everyone on Garage in addition to those who play in Garage link to C. It won’t reveal anyone in Garage window unless they stand out.
Simply come right by the barrier on Grass, stand there on the right side and try to find this little brick that is right next to the darker one.
Then, send a fully charged arrow.
C Site:
To execute C site, you need an arrow that will reveal a large portion of site and be hard to destroy as C is pretty hard to execute without utility. This checks the marks as it will clear almost everyone playing on site, with the exception of anyone on deep CT or Garage.
To do that lineup firstly, come here in C lobby and find this spot next to the huge C logo. Then run towards it and stay still.
After that, aim to the sky and find this rock on the left side of the tree. Aim your crosshair just right next to it,
And then perform a one charge arrow.
Sova Lineups - Defending Side
It might not seem inevitably clear how important an initiator like Sova is on defense, but the reality is you play a key part in winning even defensive sides. Utilizing Sova’s ability kit to gather as much information as you can on the attacking team’s positioning and moves can be the game changer and lead to victory. Here are the best lineups to defend and gather early information with Sova:
A Site:
To defend A site, it is best to find early information on the enemy that will help you determine which site they want to execute. With that, you will have the perfect insight to fight off anyone planning to hit the site. This will reveal everyone on A long, it won’t reveal anyone on short or who’s progressed far enough towards A site.
This dart is best performed from a rotation position, however you can just stay on B site and come to do it whenever you’d like. Simply, find the corner of the building and align it with the tip of your right diamond icon (the bounce logos),
Then do a 1 charge dart.
B Site:
This is the best dart to get early information on enemies trying to come up to B site or mid in general. It’s also really good for wallbangs as it will reveal everyone on window and close it, it won’t reveal anyone on grass.
Come to this corner or anywhere around it on B site, and look right at the wooden line which is the edge of window,
And then perform a fully charged dart.
C Site:
This next arrow is going to take storm into any attacker planning to come into C. They won’t see it coming and they probably won’t be able to destroy it before getting pinged. It will reveal everyone on C lobby and C long’s lobby, it won’t reveal anyone far on C long or towards Mid Grass.
To perform this lineup, come and align yourself to the corner of this green box on default. Then, aim your left diamond icon on that spot,
Then shoot a fully charged 2 bounce arrow.
Sova Lineups - Retakes
Retaking is a part of playing defense, but it reverses the roles as after you’ve lost site it’s almost like you’re attacking to open site again. With that, you need proper lineups and knowledge to corner attackers and ensure your team gets the lead when it comes to positions and info. Here are the best retaking lineups for Sova:
A Site:
This dart will change the way you retake A completely. It is mostly used in professional play and even today, it is the best arrow. This arrow will reveal anyone on A site, with the exception of under and A short/long.
To perform it, simply come to this position as you’re rotating to A site and aim at that wooden roof.
Then, shoot a fully charged arrow.
C Site:
In this lineup you will land a dart exactly on the same spot where you did previously, attacking C.
Align yourself against the corner right out of B site and then find that spot on the pipeline and align your first charge bar with it,
Then perform a one bounce 2 charge arrow.
