Brimstone Post Plant Mollies

Post plant scenarios are the lead and meta play on a map like Ascent. Often times, you will need to have set a play where you plant the spike and go back as retaking is often rewarded with advantageous features on this map. However, if you use these lineup that we will demonstrate to you it will elevate your gameplay and ensure you the highest chances of winning any post plant scenario you may encounter next. Follow up to know how you can stop anyone from defusing as a Brimstone:

Coming to the classical execute on A site, this lineup will efficiently land on default (in front of Generator) and ensure to take anyone off the defusing process. It is important to take into account that the molly can take a few seconds before landing, so always make up a good timing for that.

To do this lineup, we will be using the health HUD bar to line it up so make sure you follow up the instructions (as shown in the picture)

Simply come over in the corner against the Green Boxes and line up your HUD bar with this spot of the metallic box, then, throw your molly.

This second lineup - also on A site - will land towards green boxes (dice) which is a common plant spot when executing A. It’s important to understand where and why you’ll be planting the spike, from there, you as a brimstone can make up how you want to utilize your lineups.

Doing that is very simple, just stand in the same corner as the previous lineup and then aim your crosshair at the edge of that structure just like in the picture. Then, you only need to shoot your molly and it’ll be there in no time.

There are many scenarios where you will find yourself catching a lurk or a crazy timing on somebody, causing you to reposition and not play around your lineup area. That’s why, you’ll need to learn about these lineups from Middle/Short to be able to throw your mollies at anytime from anywhere. This one will land on Default.

To do it, you need to progress far enough and get yourself in this cubby then aim your HUD bar (the one we talked about previously) and line it up with the leaf just as shown in the picture then throw your molly.

Coming from Mid but aiming to throw your molly onto the second default planting spot, on dice, this will be the lineup for you. These lineups are extremely efficient as they’re not slow to land and will often give you a good timing of both lurk and stopping defusals.

To do it, you will need to stand in the same corner on cubby, A short, but this time you will use this horizontal line to find this exact spot on the building and align them together. After you’ve done that, throw your molly.

Moving over to B site, this will be the perfect lineup done from B main to reach the default planting position. It’s quick, which will enable you to always be able to take enemies off the spike without needing to catch a specific timing on them. And your molly have enough time for you to walk up from B main to Lane and cover it as it runs out.

To do this lineup, find this right corner on the back of B main and aim your crosshair exactly at this spot. Then, without a worry throw your molly.

Remember, these fence lines on the window are not physical; meaning you can always shoot abilities through it so don’t be afraid to aim it just as demonstrated by the picture.

This lineup will cover the second common planting spot on B which can be very situational yet effective, in front of default, the opposite site. Usually you plant there in case backsite wasn’t cleared and you did not have time to clear before planting, so this will be your way to go.

To do it, just stand in the same corner as your previous lineup and aim at this left line (at the bottom of it) then shoot your molly. It’ll land quickly on the spot and take anyone off the spike.

The last lineup on B site will cover the planting spot in the corner, under lane. It’s not as often where you see the spike planted there, but nonetheless you might find yourself in need to throw a molly there.

To do so, you will need to come by the wall on B main next to the orb just where your vision becomes exactly the same as the picture. And then, aim your crosshair at that spot and throw your molly. It’s very fast, so account for that to strategize your push after the lineup.
