Best Sova Shockdart Lineups On Ascent

If you’re playing Sova and you feel the need to learn a few lineups so you can elevate your gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we will take you through the best shockdarts lineups you could use. While lineups aren’t mandatory to be a good Sova, it can be the differentiator between a good and a great one.
It can also improve your KDA as you no longer would have to stand right in the open with your bow in hand to try and hit a shockdart, safe to say it is much more efficient to learn a lineup or two.
In this guide, we will take you through key locations on Ascent that you can shock dart to increase your chances of winning your rounds and games, so let’s start:
Attacking Side
A Site
Do you want to traumatize enemies walking out of A Heaven? Well let’s do that with just this lineup. It lands on the walkout of A heaven, which is usually smoked (we hope) and that will not be seen and must deal some damage.
To do this lineup, you will find a wooden door on A main, find it, stand against it and aim your crosshair as shown in the picture then do a 1 bar shot.
A Site - Trips
Hey hey hey we’re not over with A site just yet. This lineup is very simple, quick and useful. It destroys the common unbreakable cypher trip on site that’s usually holding all of you and your team in A site for centuries.
To do it, come ANYWHERE on A main and aim your crosshair against the lower portion of the wall, do 1 bounce and send it with 1 bar.
B Site
Onto B site, this lineup is godlike. It lands on stairs, and who doesn’t play there? Every sentinel or duelist on site must take that position in some rounds of the game if not all, so it’s a good idea to deal damage there.
To do it, come by the corner on B main and aim your crosshair through the second window as shown. Then, send your arrow with 1 bounce and 1 bar.
Defensive Side
A Site
Surely you know by now we’ve got the best lineups, that stands true in defense. This lineup is for A anti plant, which will deal a lot of damage to the one planting. And if they were low or hit before, they’re dead.
Simply come by the corner of A heaven and aim your crosshair above the little metal line and do a 1 bar shot.
B Site
This is the most common and useful B site lineup. It lands instantly and it’s very easy to do. Moreover, it’s hard to dodge because it’s quick and the space on B main is narrow.
Just come by lane or anywhere around that area and do 1 bounce 1 bar against the window opening in B main. Do that when you hear steps coming, and that’s easy guaranteed damage.
Pro Tips
- Always make sure you are safe from enemies pushing you before performing a lineup. While some lineups can be done very quickly, you still need to keep that in mind to not get caught off guard.
- Refer to the pictures to understand where to stand and where to aim for the lineup to work. It is best to practice it in a custom before heading to a Ranked game.
- You can try to innovate and alternate the lineups to your liking if you find it better, it is scenario dependent but you are free to get creative. Simply a turn to the right or left may change where the Arrow goes.
- As a Sova, lineups aren’t everything. Timing is everything. Make sure to use your abilities at a good time to get the best out of it.
- Make sure you don’t spam these arrows consistently as this will lead enemies to pre-aim your arrows’ locations and break them instantly. Instead, alternate between the lineups for better efficiency.
- Your shock darts are not always used to deal damage to players, sometimes the best use is to destroy a cypher trip or other sentinel’s utility.
- Always alternate your lineups, Sentinels will not stand in the same position or keep their trips on the same spots if they know you’re destroying it. That’s why it’s a good idea to learn a few lineups so you can alternate between them as needed.
