Best Sova Shockdart Lineups On Pearl

If you’re playing Sova and you feel the need to learn a few lineups so you can elevate your gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. Here, we will take you through the best shock darts lineups you could use. While lineups aren’t mandatory to be a good Sova, it can be the differentiator between a good and a great one.
It can also improve your KDA as you no longer would have to stand right in the open with your bow in hand to try and hit a shock dart, safe to say it is much more efficient to learn a lineup or two.
In this guide, we will take you through key locations on Pearl that you can shock dart to increase your chances of winning your rounds and games, so let’s start:
Attacking Side
A Site - Default
This lineup is perfect for the post plant on A site. It lands on default, dealing damage and potentially killing enemies trying to defuse. It is quick and simple, no harm doing it!
Come by the corner in A lobby and aim your crosshair above this piece of the building just like shown in the picture. Then do a one bar throw.
A Site - Trips
This lineup doesn’t need explanation… it isn’t much of a lineup. This breaks the Cypher trip on A main, you either throw it against the wall like shown or do 1 bounce and throw it against the wall and it will do the trick.
B Site
This lineup is going to land on B site default, similarly to A site. It is done from the furthest point on B long, so make sure you do it a little earlier than usual so it can land in proper timing. Don’t forget that you can use both shock darts.
To do it, come on the corner and line up the corner of your charge bar to the tip of the roof on the building, then do a 1 bar jump throw and it will land perfectly on default.
B Site - Halls
You can do this other lineup exactly from the position you’ve done the previous one from. The only difference is it lands on halls, which is good to deal damage on enemies playing in that angle commonly.
To do it, stand in the same corner and instead align your charge bar as shown in the picture. Basically you have to aim a little bit to the left. Then, do a jumping throw, 1 bar.
Defending Side
A Site
This lineup on Pearl is quite overlooked. It is quick, effective, and it can’t be seen as it hits suddenly. It is mostly done to deal damage for attackers when you hear them walking up on A main
All you have to do is come in Art and aim your crosshair just below the lining of the hole, then, do 1 bounce and full charge so it sends off quickly.
Pro Tips
- Always make sure you are safe from enemies pushing you before performing a lineup. While some lineups can be done very quickly, you still need to keep that in mind to not get caught off guard.
- Refer to the pictures to understand where to stand and where to aim for the lineup to work. It is best to practice it in a custom before heading to a Ranked game.
- You can try to innovate and alternate the lineups to your liking if you find it better, it is scenario dependent but you are free to get creative. Simply a turn to the right or left may change where the Arrow goes.
- As a Sova, lineups aren’t everything. Timing is everything. Make sure to use your abilities at a good time to get the best out of it.
- Make sure you don’t spam these arrows consistently as this will lead enemies to pre-aim your arrows’ locations and break them instantly. Instead, alternate between the lineups for better efficiency.
- Your shock darts are not always used to deal damage to players, sometimes the best use is to destroy a cypher trip or other sentinel’s utility.
- Always alternate your lineups, Sentinels will not stand in the same position or keep their trips on the same spots if they know you’re destroying it. That’s why it’s a good idea to learn a few lineups so you can alternate between them as needed.
