Best Sage Slow Lineups On Split

Are you a Sage main? Well, whether you are or not, this guide is going to elevate your gameplay in that agent. It may even lead you to pick her in your next ranked matches. Why you may ask? Simply because, we will show you some of the best Sage slow lineups on Split.
So let’s take you through some of the best lineups for both defense and attack helping you maximize your benefit from the agent’s ability kit:
Attack Side
A Heaven
Feel like making the most impact today? Well here’s how you can do that on Split A site in particular. This slow lands on Heaven, gives you easy of mind when you’re walking out to site.
To do it, simply come over to this corner and aim right above the ledge towards Heaven. A simple throw will go a long way here!
B Rafter
This lineup will land on B rafters, towards B heaven. Now on this picture, it may not be shown fully; but it will take over the entire area of rafters and some of B heaven, pretty overpowered.
To do it, come over to this spot shown and aim your slow right under the sign and rooftop as such. Then, do a normal throw, takes about 2-3 seconds to land.
Defense Side
A Site Screens
Okay hear us out, this might not be the most brilliant lineup ever, but it will get you the job done. How? You can slow behind screens when retaking A site, most importantly you won’t be exposed to enemies as you do it.
To do it, come anywhere on A heaven where you can see this staircase, and aim your crosshair as shown in the picture. Then send it off!
B Site Backsite
This is another lineup that may not be so brilliant but gets the job done landing on back site, exactly where you’ll most likely get peeked from and have a bullet in the center of your forehead.
Just come over to this staircase and throw your slow in line with the corner of the building as shown. Don’t extend forward unless you want to be exposed to enemies.
Sage Pro Tips
- Sage is one of the oldest Sentinels in the game. While her kit is not set to watch flank, she is able to block choke points and give control to her team. So make sure you get the best out of it.
- You have 2 slow orbs that you can use per round, make sure you don’t waste both of them at the same time as you should try to extend the duration of how long it stays as much as possible.
- To get the best out of these lineups beware of the timing and situation you use it in. Do not use an attack lineup when your enemy is too far ahead or too far behind as this will defeat its purpose.
- Make sure to pay attention for the sound after you slow an area, there is a sound que if players try to step through your slow and it can be a round winner difference to know that.
- Remember that your slows do not deal any damage, so don’t try to use them for post plant as if they are mollies; a common mistake sage mains resort to.
- Do not use your Sage wall to cover up flanks as this does more harm than good. It firstly stops you from being able to rotate in case you need to and secondly wastes the better usage of the wall on choke point.
- It is recommended to try the lineups given in a custom match to ensure you are able to do it properly before proceeding to a ranked match and potentially making some game-losing mistakes.
