Mastering the art of stealth, defense, and information gathering is crucial. One agent who excels in these areas is Cypher, the master of surveillance. His key strength lies in his ability to control and manipulate information on the battlefield, with his Spycam, Trapwires, and Cyber Cages at his disposal. An essential part of his toolkit, the Cyber Cage, is a versatile asset that can be a game-changer in the right hands.

This article will explore the best cage lineups on Haven for Cypher in Valorant, diving into the details of how to place these obscure smokes to gain an edge over your opponents, restrict their movement, and dominate the battlefield. Whether you are a seasoned Cypher main or a beginner looking to expand your knowledge, these lineups will provide you with fresh perspectives and strategic insights to help you enhance your gameplay.

Cypher Defense Cage Lineups

This site relies heavily on you as a sentinel and site anchor, in most cases, you’ll be up against many enemies trying to enter your site and as a Cypher you’re equipped to cancel that out and possibly earn kills. Using your cages in good spots can result in easy and more efficient frags, so here are the best cage lineups you can use:

Starting out on A site, this will be one of the best one ways you can replicate to demolish any enemy walking up B long. Especially that normally, attackers will take A long as the main course to entry site this will make it a lot easier for you to earn free kills.

To do it, come over right against the wall on A main, aim your crosshair exactly at that spot just as in the picture, and then simply throw your cage.

Similarly, this will be the same exact same lineup, but for the left side instead. This helps it so you can either combine both lineups (this and the previous one) to create a full on cover for A main or to isolate angles according to the position you’re playing on site.

Over to doing this lineup, you will need to stand against the boxes on the right side this time and aim your crosshair just slightly above the second wooden window just like so, and then throw your cage and you’ll be ready to go.

Of course, we didn’t forget about short as enemies are still likely to contest that area. Here’s a lineup that will ensure, nobody ever tries to cross into site from short again as it’ll create a true nightmare for anyone. It will earn you free kills at ease by simply playing on site.

To do it, it’s very simple as all you need to do is come over under that corner on Short and aim right at it just like so. And then, throw your cage and it will be perfect and ready to use.

Over to C site, you will learn the best cage lineups that will dominate every enemy you encounter in any situation you might think of. Starting with a Garage One-Way cross cage, that prevents enemies from crossing without being under your grip as they will have no vision while you can clearly and easily spot them, essentially giving you free kills.

To do it, come over next to the green boxes on C, stick yourself a little more against the wall, and then aim at that spot. Then, simply, throw your cage. It will land on top of this thin bar above Garage which will give you an advantage if you’re playing back site or so.

Moving on to the main lineup to use, which is definitely on C main. Doing this lineup is simple but it will change the pace of your gameplay quite a ton. Enemies will not be able to execute site as fast, especially that C long is a narrow pathway into site which will force them to either back as a whole or die to your bullets as you have vision.

To do it, come over on top of platform and stick yourself against the wall, and then line up your HUD bar between the cage and cam logo just as in the picture, simply jump and throw your cage and it will land on the spot.

cypher_haven_c_3

Next up is a similar lineup, only that it will be altered to be on the left side. Which again, can be utilized to combine and create a full one way or to isolate angles according to your position on site as well.

To do it, come over to this corner on default and aim your Cam Logo right under the window in the wall, then simply throw your cage and it will land on the wooden windows giving you a unique one way to play off.

cypher_haven_c_4

Lastly, we will seal the guide with this lineup that you can use as a post plant scenario which will definitely strengthen your ability to hold site and ensure that enemies take more time and risks trying to go up against you on the retake for C site.

To do that, make sure you’re in a safe spot and that there’s nobody close to CT then quickly come over to this corner, aim at that statue carved inside the wood and throw your cage there then back off to play off logs which is where the one way will be most effective.
