Valorant Dev Confirms Replay System Release Date & More

The Valorant dev team has just dropped some exciting updates ahead of their official June anniversary Dev Update, and it looks like players have a lot to look forward to.
Replays Are Officially Coming This September
Yes, you read that right! After a flood of “replays when?” comments, the team has confirmed that a full replay system will be arriving in September.
Players will finally be able to review matches, learn from mistakes, and capture those highlight moments with ease.
Tejo Is Getting Nerfed in Patch 10.09
Tejo’s been causing some chaos lately. Mainly because of those rockets. The devs agree he’s been a bit too powerful and tough to counter, so they’re tuning him down in Patch 10.09.
The goal? Bring him more in line with other Initiators. A video breaking down the changes to Tejo is expected to drop tomorrow.
Ability Overload Is on the Radar
The devs aren’t ignoring the growing frustration around “ability overload.” They’ve acknowledged it’s a real issue, especially with how Tejo’s kit has been affecting the meta. While some adjustments will be coming gradually over the year, the bigger shifts are planned for after Champs. More details are expected in the June update video.
That’s all for now, but the team promises more updates soon. As always, they’re listening—and they appreciate the community for holding them accountable.
