Will The New Valorant Update Drop Your FPS?

The 10.11 patch is rolling out in Valorant, and it’s bringing something new to the game: a Finisher Cam. Before you panic about performance drops, especially with something that sounds like it might slow things down. Riot has made it clear that FPS will not be affected.
Valorant 10.11 Update: Finisher Cam Is Here
This new Finisher Cam activates when a player is eliminated by a gun with a finisher effect. It works kind of like the Spike Cam, giving a cleaner, more controlled view during those dramatic final moments.
The goal here isn’t just to make things look cooler, it’s also meant to reduce visual clutter, cut down on potential issues for players sensitive to flashing lights, and fix some of the weird camera behavior that happened during finishers before.
So yeah, you get the cinematic moment without your game chugging. Win-win.
On top of that, this patch also fixes a bunch of bugs for agents like Fade, Waylay, Tejo, Clover, Chamber, and Breach.
Icebox is still causing trouble in Deathmatch and Escalation modes though, so it’ll stay disabled there for now.
