Heya folks! It’s Ash and I’m going to get straight into it because this is a BIG patch. Let’s go!
TLDR;


Agents – Adjusted: Waylay, Reyna, Phoenix, Neon. Clarity and consistency updates: Breach, Sova, Clove, Killjoy, Cypher, Omen, Brimstone.


Maps – New map: Corrode. New mode: Corrode Only queue in Swiftplay for 5 days. In Competitive and Deathmatch: Bind and Corrode are in, Pearl and Split are out. For the first 2 weeks of Competitive: Corrode RR losses are reduced by 50%, wins remain at 100%.


Competitive – Less of a drop in rank after placements. Maximum placement rank increased from Ascendant 1 to Ascendant 3.

 

 

General Updates (All Platforms)


Suppression visual effects are now more visible on opponents for better clarity. New UI/UX animations have been added when picking up the spike to make it more noticeable.

 

 

Agent Updates – Waylay


Refract: Minimum time decreased 0.5s → 0.35s, maximum time decreased 3s → 2s, unequip time decreased 1.0s → 0.8s, delay after reactivation decreased 0.1s → 0.05s.
Lightspeed: Unequip delay decreased 0.8s → 0.6s.
Saturate: Windup before explosion decreased 0.75s → 0.6s, size increased from 10m to 12m total.

 

 

Agent Updates – Reyna


Leer: HP decreased from 100 → 80. Audio and visual hit confirm feedback added when shooting Leer.

 

Agent Updates – Neon & Phoenix


Neon: Relay Bolt windup increased 0.8s → 1.0s.
Phoenix: Curveball windup increased 0.5s → 0.6s.

 

 

Clarity and Consistency Updates

 

Breach (Aftershock): VFX now resolve faster and block less gameplay space.


Sova (Recon Bolt): Louder projectile loop, improved directional sound, updated audio tech for better trajectory and impact understanding.

 

Owl Drone: Spotted enemies now hear a light warning audio loop, hit confirm audio added when shooting drone.

Clove (Pick-Me-Up): Updated visuals to show when speed boost is active.

 


Killjoy (Lockdown): Detain pulse delay reduced 0.5s → 0.15s, visuals updated.


Cypher (Spycam): Dart visuals updated for clearer directionality.


Omen (Dark Cover): No longer plays third-person audio for opponents within 12.5m; still plays for allies.


Brimstone (Sky Smoke): Now plays cast audio within 12.5m for allies.

 

 

Map Updates – New Map: Corrode


A 5v5 spike mode map with layered defenses, castle and village elements, multi-level combat zones shaped by radianite storms. Corrode has three lanes and two sites.

 

 

Map Pool Updates


Bind and Corrode are now in Competitive and Deathmatch. Pearl and Split are out. Corrode is available in Premier, Unrated, Swiftplay, Spike Rush, and Escalation.

 

 

Modes Updates


Corrode Queue: Available for 5 days in Swiftplay mode.


Escalation: Temporarily disabled during Corrode-only period. Icebox re-enabled in Deathmatch and Escalation after fixing spawn bugs from patch 10.09.

 

 

Competitive Updates


Ranked Gun Buddy: Act IV starts now. Rewards based on highest rank reached during the first three acts of Season 2025.


Corrode Launch Event: Available in Competitive on patch day. RR losses on Corrode are reduced 50% for 2 weeks, RR for wins is unaffected.


Rank Reset Adjustments: Players may experience less rank drop after placements. Max placement rank is now Ascendant 3.

 

 

Bug Fixes – General


Fixed lingering VFX on Vulnerable/Fragile effects. Fixed destructibles like Tejo’s Stealth Drone and Fade’s Prowlers keeping teleporter doors open on Bind.

 

 

Bug Fixes – Agents


KAY/O: Suppression VFX now consistently apply.
Raze: Paint Shells VFX no longer persist across rounds.
Omen: Fixed inconsistent targeting views during Dark Cover + Shadowstep spam.
Skye & Cypher: Tooltip spacing issues resolved.
Breach: Fixed Fault Line inconsistencies on uneven terrain.
Astra: Astral World visuals no longer persist after disconnect/reconnect.

 

 

PC Only – Premier Updates


Welcome to Stage V25A4! Once on a team, your social hover card shows team name, division, and score.

 

Play two Weekly matches or one Playoff to earn your Team Tag and Plating. Tags appear in social panel, lobby, killfeed, and Competitive Leaderboards.

 

Plating appears on your player card across the client. Qualify and win playoffs to unlock the Champion’s Aura for your card. All of this is viewable in the new Awards tab of the Premier hub.

 

 

Player Behavior Updates


You can now report inappropriate Premier team names from Standings, Match History, and end-of-game screens. Inappropriate names may be forced to rename. Repeated offenses will lead to Premier restrictions.
