New Detection System Targets Botting Across All Match Sizes

The data science team behind the game’s anti-cheat operations has introduced a major upgrade to its bot detection systems, marking a significant step forward in combating unfair play.
The new system, which surpasses previous detection methods, now identifies bot activity across all match sizes, from 5v5 formats down to 1v1 duels. This enhancement also extends to detecting “hand-levelers,” users who attempt to mimic legitimate gameplay patterns.
New Detection System Is In Play
According to the developers, the original detection system was successful in flagging 5v5 botters, but over time, bot networks evolved to evade those methods.
The upgraded system closes those loopholes, forcing bot operators to resort to increasingly desperate measures, including the use of cheats, in an attempt to stay active.
This shift demonstrates the mounting pressure on automated accounts and their creators.
The team confirmed that regular ban waves will continue on a biweekly basis, ensuring persistent enforcement against botting operations.
Players are also encouraged to report suspicious activity directly through in-game tools to support ongoing efforts.
This milestone reinforces the developers’ commitment to preserving fair competition and maintaining integrity within the game’s community, while continuously adapting to the ever-changing landscape of automated cheating.
